If I had ever been pegged by an ex of mine and the woman I was dating said she really liked doing it, I would try it even if I hadn't been a fan when I did it before. If I had never done it with anyone, I think we'd have to have a long talk.

My answer is yes because I already had that experience.

But it wasn't because she did it with her ex, it was just something she was really looking foreword to ever since she had read about it in Vogue. She's a feminist but not one of those wacky ones with the pink hair and stuff. She is more old school and believes in women's empowerment through social programs, funding, awareness, education and she's the kind of feminist who wears a suit and has a career. So not that 20yo bright pink pixy-hair weirdo holding a "ban all men" sign outside of a college campus.

Anyway I went through with it and it was not bad. Also, I learned that not many women are genuinely into it, it is almost always guys who make their girlfriends peg them. There's a legitimate reason why men hate that a partner used to do things that she won't do now. It makes a guy question whether his wife settled a bit on raw lust when she chose him. Now, this isn't always true. She could have changed herself. But many women do settle when it comes to raw lust, so it is hard for men to ever know.

This is one of the advantages of the old system. But, at any rate, this is not the world we live in. In today's world, the best advice is 'don't ask; don't tell' with respect to things that a woman did in her past that she doesn't want to do with her current partner. As a man, don't try to find out.

But if you still do find out, well, why get angry at her for doing what many women and men eventually have to do? When we are older and choose a long term partner, they may not be the absolutely most lust inspiring person we ever slept with. There's no way to explicitly face this truth without it being a gut punch, which is why we hide it from each other and even ourselves. That is healthy. But if it comes out somehow, whatcha gonna do? Deal with it like a mature adult. Trying to force her to do what she used to with hotter guys is like trying to make 1+1=3. That is crazy thinking.

Deal with it or, if you cannot, leave. Or even hit that gym, buy better clothes, and see if you can up your hotness. But being angry at her for living in the modern dating reality just makes zero sense.
