Yes, I believe in equal rights, representation, and responsibilities under the law. Including the draft (which is nearly always the “gotcha” question) which I believe should be illegal anyway. It will never happen though - as you note, women have periods and get pregnant and usually end up raising the kids, while men are bigger and physically stronger and arguably more violent. It’s an ideal to pursue though.

If you mean I think people should be identical or - no matter the context - be treated identically, no.

I believe in things like fair and equal treatment under the law (even if it’s not identical) and equality of opportunities based upon merit. Stuff like that. I feel like “equality” tends to get thrown around a lot here as some sort of “gotcha, you can’t be for equality and yet still expect men and women to treat each other differently or have different expectations for each other in romantic and sexual relationships” and I don’t think that’s the type of “equality” most people believe in. It’s a weird shoehorning of the word, to me.

There always will be physical differences, that probably would cause some social inequality, but with scientific and social development maybe we would be able to overcome them too. I really want to see some kind of artificial wombs.

If you were to suddenly be come Emperor and God at the same time [in charge of change, and with the appropriate powers], what changes would you implement?

There would be several options that I'd try in the simulator before doing anything with real people:

- Giving people a chance to choose their gender.

- Slowly turning people into hermaphrodites, so everyone could get pregnant or make their partners pregnant.

- Leave everything as it is, but making women physically stronger than men.

- Play with levels of libido in men and women and see what level works best.

But I think the best option is just to give everyone a high level of empathy and consciousness. It would solve most of our problems.

I think having kids does create a huge inequality that probably causes a potentially big reaction depending on the person and their surrounding. But since I personally dont want kids I feel free from that issue. For the others, at least it's a choice for everyone. I dont know at the moment what to say about this topic

I believe in it and not in some abstract way, I actually think it's pretty normal. In relationships if you want to nitpick you always have some sort of dynamics where you can argue this one does this more or that one does that more, I guess. But in any other situation this only works until the moment one person says they dont like the fact that something wasnt fair. So I dont like the gender argument that's trying to ignore that exact complaint and respond to it by saying that's just how things are cause we're different. Yeah tell your friend they're always doing you a random favor cause "you're different people" if they complain about it and you'll be told to fuck off.

But to answer directly yes of course I want equality and I also have equality and had equality in every relationship I was in. I believe we already have equality

No because people are not equal. Dignity, yes...everyone should always be treated with dignity. I think most people confuse inequity equity and equality. They are not the same things, they are genderless issues

No, solely because equality and fairness is different. Treating people equally is unfair. Ex sports: we have different divisions bc on most sports women simply cannot compete.

On fields where nature is equal let treatment be equal but otherwise make it according to what the natural laws dictate.

Yeah. For my entire adult life, I've supported myself. I've had to be responsible for my stuff, from handling investments to changing the oil in my truck. My life is really no different than a man's, so why shouldn't I be afforded the same respect that a man gets? It is tiresome to have people act surprised when they see me doing a man's job. (It actually isn't rocket science.)

I don't believe equality is possible or desirable. People should have equal rights and freedoms, but the outcomes of that will be necessarily unequal because of differing values and human capacity. Disadvantaging more capable people so that less capable people can achieve the same outcomes is retarded.

Equality is a loaded word.

I think most people do want it, but on terms that benefit their demographic.

Identity politics is divide-and-conquer, you make the men and women argue over what "equal pay" means so that neither of them are in a position to see how badly they're /really/ getting fucked.

Feminism is an aspect of hypercapitalism, so is civil rights, so is LGBT, so is everything else.

These are distractions from the REAL inequalities between rich and poor.

Yes, 100% equality as human beings. Nothing less.

I don't know what 100% equality across the board even means. Men shouldn't be forced to get pregnant, even though it's possible with modern medicine.
