That is just sad. And yep, I've seen men post online with the attitudes below:

A combination of mutually exclusive qualities, the Russian or Ukrainian woman is perfect- for an insecure loser unsure of his masculinity, the sort of “nice guy” who has nothing to offer a woman save for common courtesy that is the baseline for normal people.

There are plenty of good women in Asia and Eastern Europe. And western guys who are losers in their home countries do get a boost in their value abroad. But guys who are naive and think these girls are ideal are idiots and will get hurt. Things that are too good to be true are.

Also, "old fashioned" women have "old fashioned" expectations of their partners, which a lot of these men aren't willing or able to provide

Not sure why russian women would be less feminist. Their women were fighting nazis a while ago. Also, the USSR was a lot more gender egalitarian than anything the west had during the same time period.

I think the problem with that phenomenon is that it does indeed happen, though not necessarily to older ugly guys.

A friend of mine (a more worldly and charismatic guy) has spent 4-5 years in Brazil with a German company, and I got to know some of his colleagues when they came back. The guys who visitited him were married to a Brazilian woman they got to know during their year abroad. What did these guys have in common? Well, they were young (early to mid 20s, i.e. far younger than people usually get married here) and seemed, for lack of a better word, pretty beta (as in: not dominant or particularly outgoing). Not physically unattractive (well, one of them was), but I had no problem imagining them having spent their prior lives mostly love- and sexless and therefore jumping at the chance to date the first attractive woman who was receptive to their approach (or approached them herself) - even if that meant marrying that girl (these South Americans! Always so oddly religious!). Sure, they scored themselves a decent-looking latina (okay, the unattractive one of them also got a less attractive woman), but I strongly suspected that the women had ulterior motives when they started dating them. Hook, line and sinker.

(said friend on the other hand enjoyed Brazil and also the women he met there, but later married a Canadian. Badum-tishhhh.)

Blue pill here, will be blue pill anywhere that has women indoctrinated into "western" values. As a Red Pill, I find it hilarious, and pathetic that some one would relocate t o a different country to get laid. If you have to go that far, then that ain't the problem.

It may be a case of flooding the market. This has been going on for over 20 years, so it's something they would be aware of, familiar with, and understand what's going on. I visited Russia back when it was still the Soviet Union. I'm fluent in the language and understand their history and culture to some degree. They really don't see the world in the same way as the average Westerner, although as I began to understand their point of view better, the typical Western viewpoint became more and more incomprehensible to me.

I'm not surprised to hear that these Western men are failing in their quest. It's true that Russian women might have a stronger set of morals than Western women, as there was no real "sexual revolution" in the Soviet Union at the same time it was occurring the West. Russian women worked, so the consumerist, luxury-driven 1950s era Western housewife was non-existent in their culture (during the 50s, the Russians were still rebuilding their country and faced an acute shortage of men). Russian women also tend to be emotionally tougher and stronger than the typical Western women, as Russians have had to endure far more adversity and hardship.

Russians are also very intelligent, with very strong intellects - but also very deep feeling and a certain deeper spirituality which also doesn't really exist in the more typically superficial and shallow Western consciousness. To Western men, this may seem like a refreshing change from the fickle frivolity of Western women, although it would be a mistake to assume that Russians are ignorant, backward fools. That's probably where many of these "losers" are making their mistake. They go in thinking it's going to be easy, that the women are desperate, and with an arrogant superiority complex where they look down on Russia and its people.

I find the Russians to be very warm and wonderful people, but I respect them enough and know them enough that...you don't really want to mess around with them or get on their bad side.

I lived in Asia and they had a nickname for these types LBH. Loser Back Home. Unless you plan on changing yourself first, moving to another country won't help you.
