The core philosophy of FDS is: man puts in 100% and woman gives back 0%. "Maximum female benefit". That's not a relationship - it's indentured servitude. No one in their right mind wants to have the life sucked out of them until they wind up looking like the guy who drank from the wrong grail in Indiana Jones.

Moreover, you can't expect any loyalty from an FDS woman because they are drilled to leave when they're not getting their own way. Get sick? She'll cheat/leave. Busy at work this week? She'll cheat/leave. Unexpected emergency home repair means less disposable income this month? She'll cheat/leave. I remember reading about a woman on that sub who was dating other men right up until the month of her wedding. That's beyond scummy behaviour.

And finally, on a personality level - we would not work. FDS women take themselves very seriously, and interpret things very literally. I like to be silly behind closed doors, and I like being with women who are silly behind closed doors too.

Basically, I'd avoid them like the plague. Anyone who follows internet dating "guides" like this is someone to be avoided anyway.

One thing I haven't seen others mention: Imagine having a good career, putting food on the table, planning and paying for dates, helping at home, keeping in shape, and just doing everything you can to keep her happy. Just for her to refer to all that as "the bare minimum", which is what FDS women say. I want to feel valued for who I am and what I do, just like any man would. If my contributions to the relationship were "minimized", it would be over immediately.

FDS includes self-improvement tips, cautionary tales of abusive relationships, and vetting strategies, SOME of which are reasonable. I would date a woman if she only subscribed for that type of content. Years ago I would occasionally look at TRP for analogous content from a male perspective, but I never got off to stories of manipulation, dread game, etc. and generally did not put any stock into that type of content. If I found out I was dating an FDS lurker I would watch for any manipulation or similar toxicity and would drop her at the first sign.

I think that if I made a real connection somehow with someone who happens to be an FDS user, that maybe we would change each other in ways, as making new connections can tend to do. I mean look, a lot of people on TRP and also FDS are just really guarded and performative online. There are thousands of FDS users, do I really think all of them are irredeemable? No. Of course not. There are women on there who, if I met them in my life somehow, we could probably get along just fine. To be honest, no, I likely wouldn't. From what I've seen of FDS, and don't get me wrong, I have only been looking at their ideology for a relatively short time, the culture and attitudes of many of the women on their sub,(that I've actually seen post or comment) come off as kind of entitled and short sighted when it comes to their own issues.

Despite this, I actually respect some of their ideology: wanting to cut through the BS of finding the ideal person for you (the personal view of a HVM to each individual woman), self-improvement and holding acceptable standards for a partner/potential partner, looking for red flags(although it seems like they can be overly reactionary), and wanting a partner at your level/with the same mindset. These are all things that I've read in their FDS handbook.

That being said, it seems like many, not all, of these women are quite jaded and love to generalize men as if they're a monolith. They can be pretty toxic and it's clear that it's because many of them have been hurt and used. There seems to be a lack of self reflection in that many of them aren't inherently high value by their own standards but assume that they deserve a HVM. I even saw a post in their own handbook with one of their own calling out many of FDS females for not being high value themselves and and not seeing a need for self improvement. I'm not even going to touch on the part of the ideology with the attitude of using men like they are tools to an end while using the excuse that "all men just want to use women anyways so do you queen, BS". It's just a justification for remorseless self-aggrandizement at the expense of others, but at least they're aware of the fact.

I guess in summation for this long ass post, a woman worth dating from FDS would be one who subscribes to the things I mentioned from their own ideology but isn't so arrogant as to assume that they are implicitly high value and it's only the man who has to prove their worth. One who actually sees the relationship as a future equal partnership and not an opportunity to extract value without giving it back because they assume they're inherently valuable. Finally a woman who doesn't view men as a checklist of their heart's greatest desires. Standards are great and important, but not an excuse to treat people like they are actually alive and not something you buy in a store.

Yes, I would consider dating/marriage, but there are a lot of problems with the way both "red pilled" and "FDS" labels are taken to extremes by idealists who make it their whole life instead of using it as a mere tool for themselves.

There's a huge difference about being critical on ourselves to improve and manage our own life, but to apply and do this onto others is where a lot of people go down the wrong path. We can't nor are able to control others, to overextend our sense of self in this manner will make both people involved miserable. For a person to think their way of life (or personhood) has more weight to justify their behavior towards others is pure virtue signaling, many are assholes or narcissists in disguise. I would consider this no different from the extremist religion folk, extremist vegans, etc.. who ruin the label for others who don't use it to such extremes to impose their lifestyle onto others.

Of course that's not going to be everyone who uses these labels, hence why I would consider and don't really mind the label. Labels aren't a great way to express ourselves imo.

Ironically, FDS and TRP look very much alike, if you don't look too hard and/or aren't very smart to begin with. This is because their intake end looks very much the same... losers who are unsuccessful at getting what they want from the opposite sex, and are angry at the opposite sex about it.

The difference is where they go from there. TRP teaches these angry men that their failures are due to their shortcomings, and that they needed to embark on a program of radical self-improvement. I think I went on a date once with what we could call a "stereotypical" FDS woman. I droped her at her place after two hours and explained her that she was really good looking and I was hoping we liked each other but I felt we didn't have chemistry, she seemed unintrested in me during the entire date and didn't even looked at me or talked that much. I wished well and got the fuck out. She seemed stuned.

She did apologized briefly after (by text, when I got home) and told me she was very intrested in me but she was kinda "nervous"?

We agreed on a second date, went out a couple times more, had sex here and there for like 6 months but by the time I wasn't intrested in her anymore and never took her serious really.

It's sad, because had she be nice to me and honest with her intentions I would have dated her seriously, she was really hot and intelligent.

I suppose that would depend on how you determine whether a woman is categorized as "FDS". Does that mean she uses the sub every now and then? Does that mean she accepts every single premise of the FDS ideology? etc.

But overall, I will say that it's highly, highly unlikely, but I won't say it's impossible. Although, she would have to be quite different from the average FDS woman, and she would have to reject at least a few of the core notions of FDS.

Also, interestingly enough, gun to my head, I'd take an FDS woman over a blue pill libfem 9/10 times. But my main issue is that FDS women are not honest. All these strategies are not things that are core of their morals, they are merely strategies adopted for their wants. Women are on FDS because prior to coming there they were behaving in a completely opposite manner and it didn't yield the happy result. I don’t care too much about what a woman’a ideology is before I invite her into my world because my program will not be 100% aligned with her perspective regardless.

Look at it this way. I consider myself a red pilled man in the sense that I think I understand women and their motivations much better than the average guy based on psychological literature, but I don’t go to the sub anymore. I took what I needed and got out. I would understand entirely that just looking at the red pill sub most women would say they wouldn’t date red pilled men. I think that’s fair based on the level of hate the average sub user has for women. If there were some women who were actually concerned with utilizing solid principles about what attracts and keeps men around, then absolutely, but that doesn’t seem to be the core principle of the sub. I can’t comment on what their supposed principles when it comes to dating even are, but from what I’ve seen it looks like they put the onus on men to be a good partner and don’t seem to care much for being one themselves. In that case, probably under no circumstance would I date one even if they weren’t as hateful as the average sub poster is.

In my experience FDS women aren't that much different than you average woman. The main difference is that typically they had shitty experiences in the past and a little bit of scar tissue, plus they clearly have a game plan. It's so much fun when my dating strategies collide with thiers. You see a Red Pill guy at my stage has put in massive amounts of work in order to learn how female instincts work and then turn those instincts against them. FDS basically just focuses on screening harder, and then trying to create boundaries that benefit them. I can generally blow up those boundaries and keep them begging for more. In fact those previous bad experiences often can lead to short term desperation to keep me around because I make sure that experiences with me are extremely positive and fun.

Also... not alot of other Red Pill guys are willing to play the game a bit and wait past the first date for sex. However, since guys like me usually have one or two other plates currently spinning... we don't really care and genuinely enjoy the challenge.

My first thought when it comes to that stuff is that I probably have already dated a few women who were FDS people or who had FDS beliefs. And, even if the relationship or interaction could work out in that short term, there was always something uncomfortable about how I could tell they thought about men, and that would make me reconsider them as a partner. But, that being said, it wasn’t necessarily those particular beliefs themselves, but the fact that I felt more like they saw me as an object or like I was fulfilling a role for them instead of seeing me as a person I am.

There are individual aspects of FDS ideology that I think actually have merit. Reading some of the stories about guys on there are unbelievable and some of the ideas make sense but if you're talking about someone who adheres to all aspects of the ideology then no I don't think I'd want to spend much time with them at all. People talking of being queens, kings, wolves or other fanciful things irritate me. What's wrong with just being two people?

Also everything being a challenge and a game all the time is just a tiring way of existing and I wouldn't want it as part of my private life.

I always focus on the parts of TRP that are non-adversarial. FDS is specifically reactionary against TRP's adversarial aspect.

Now I don't follow FDS that well, so there might be an entire feminine "how can I help myself out so that I can help my relationship out better" aspect to it that I haven't heard about. But I'm not going to get into a relationship with someone who views me as an adversary, and I would never advise a woman get in a relationship with a man who views her as an adversary.

Yikes, estás loco? No way. I've only taken a look there a couple times, but frankly, I was terrified and disgusted by what I read. They're misanthropes who look down on even the Chaddiest of Chads as a tool (yes, they're objectifying as hard as man has objectified), and show no committment. FDS is a toxic playground of women who are either too old to find a man, or women who are just plain ugly. Men aren’t looking at them, so they play a character online of a woman who has way too many suitors so they are holding out for a high value one. this has nothing to do with r/FDS period. but fundamentally, I don’t date just to be in an arbitrary relationship. so I simply wouldn’t date anyone who employs a “strategy” to the process. so 20 years before Reddit existed, that would mean reading magazines and books on the subject and dating advice columns.

I wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with anyone who didn’t want me for me. anyone who needs to consult the opinion of others to figure out whether we are a good match is off the table. I don’t strategize at all when I date someone. I mean, if I’m really interested in you, and you like something, I may become interested in that thing and learn more about it, because I like you, so I may like that, and we may have a closer relationship because of it. that’s about as far as my “strategical approach” goes. I’ll listen to advice from my friends on the people I date just in case I’m missing something but if I disagree with them I’m going with my own instincts over theirs. when I consult with others on relationship advice, it’s not “should I be with this person?” it’s more like “_____ happened. Do you think I should ____?”. I’ll get a 3rd party’s advice on my actions and my potential responses to make sure I am not being an asshole and also to make sure I’m not being taken advantage of or manipulated, but I don’t ask people if I should date/break up with someone. I made that mistake when I was younger. trusted the advice of people who spent two hours with us once a month over my own instincts when I lived with this person 24/7. a lot of times people just give general advice, they don’t deeply ponder your personal situation, only YOU can do that. (possibly, also your mom lol).

the only dating strategy that makes sense is “be the best possible version of yourself.” if you are putting your time and energy into becoming the best person you can be, you will also attract the best possible partners.
