Many Redpillers hide their beliefs from women and friends, very well, which is deceptive. If it's so good, why all the smoke and mirrors? I lived abroad for a while and only learned about Redpill like a crash course through a corporate guy.

Over time, he increasingly used sexist, racist, and other radical commentary (as he got comfortable). He even started encouraging me to read, "The Turner Diaries."

Over about a year, he revealed it all... Redpill, MGTOW, Qanon, his past Nazi meetings and beliefs, use of escorts (black females), porn, addiction. It was all pretty sick and disturbing.

After this experience, I think Redpill is very attractive for radicalized (and potentially dangerous) men who covertly use the ideology to justify sick behavior, as some kind of coping mechanism, or maybe because they struggle with latent violent, sexually violent, or even homosexual urges?

It's something they hide offline overall and don't want to announce to their peers or at the workplace, because they know deep down how disturbing and sociopathic it really is, and how people would react.

Redpill is a radical solution for a sick society on its way down (on internet forums) that appeals to individuals who have gotten burned by toxic relationships - or - don't know how/want to have safe, longterm, healthy, honest, good and loving relationships between genders anymore.

All I know about red pill is that it wants to encourage girls when they're super young to get married , and I was super young (17f) when I got married . Had my first son of 3 at 19 , and my life then was probably one of the worst experiences, and everything I've done in my life has been to crawl out of that situation. Which finally I did in my early 30s officially. I'm now 42f , have career in medical , Remarried in my mid late- 30s to a HVM . I think there are decent parts to TRP but theres a lot of shit to wade through both on the prescriptive side and the descriptive side. I think too many men treat it like a religion. And I think it’s gotten worse in recent years with the influence of incels/black pill. I think misogyny is a core part of red pill rhetoric and those who pretend otherwise are often deluding themselves because TRP has taken over how they identify themselves. That being said, there used to be more moderate red pillers who seemed to understand how to separate the valuable parts from the bullshit. They are few and far between these days

Many of the popular red pill figures I’ve heard of don’t actually seem to like women, honestly. The men of Fresh and fit podcast or Kevin Samuels are some.

I hear a lot of rhetoric from them about how women are a burden and a waste of time and their value is in their number of ex partners, but these men still want to have sex. It’s a little confusing, because I’d imagine you don’t have so much critique of an entire gender you’re attracted to. I personally love men but have the boundaries to pick the decent ones.

I think the non-misogynistic parts are perfectly fine, I've even used them myself, ironically to get rid of my own traditionalist upbringing. These included learning how to grow a backbone, stop looking for validation from men, create boundaries for relationships and stand up for myself, don't put up with toxic people, focus on self-improvement rather than bowing to what family wanted me to be, etc.

It's only when RP talks about things like AWALT, how "all" women are hypergamous, dread game, shit tests, mind games, treating women like the "oldest child in the home", etc that they lose any usefulness or respect from me.

It's another part of manosphere where men complain about women and build various schemes to get sex from them. There are good parts of it, almost all of them are "common sense" things though like lift, get your shit together, don't be needy etc. and things that are built on cold and hot games that work on some women but mostly on women with insecure attachment styles. For some reason a lot of men have easier times accepting that they should work on their bodies and lives in general when this advice goes together with misogyny.

All in all, TRP as it is now looks more like a circle-jerking echo-chamber full of guys who can't get laid. Guys who don't have relationships issues don't need it in the first place, so an average red piller most likely has some issues. Either it's appearance, a lack of social skills, just misogyny or all of it in the same time.

I think it's a damaging ideology that harms the people who believe it. Much like FDS they build up so much distrust and resentment at the gender they are attracted to they make it nearly impossible to love or trust someone of that gender.

I think it gets in the way of building meaningful romantic and sexual connections while damaging the people who believe it's ability to actually see other humans as individuals. I have a rather mixed view of TRP.

In my opinion, self-improvement, becoming assertive, in-tune with your masculinity, physically attractive and learning how to be social, flirt with and seduce women (while not making them the sole purpose of your life) are crucial to do as a man. Aside from finding a partner, these things can greatly help men out when it comes to fulfilling their goals, building careers, and being happier in general.

I have mixed views when it comes to spinning plates and N-count, though. I believe that engaging in too much casual sex with too many partners can be damaging to both men and women, and make it much harder for both of them to pair bond, because in such situations, men and women get used to acting on their polygamous or hypergamous instincts (I agree with the fact that women are hypergamous, whereas men are polygamous by nature, however, culture is just as important when it comes to our behaviour), which can be damaging in long-term relationships. If someone doesn't want long-term monogamy, though, they are free to do whatever they want in the bedroom, as long as it's safe, consensual, both sides are honest and take responsibility for their decisions and actions.

Another thing that I partially disagree with is AWALT/AMALT. All women can cheat, divorce and branch swing, just like all men can rape and abuse women. However, just because people are capable of doing such awful things, and because we live in a world where open hypergamy and polygamy isn't frowned upon due to dating apps, social media and pornography, doesn't mean that all people will do them (in fact, most people will be in happy and healthy relationships with their partner(s)). On the other hand, TRP attracts men that have been hurt by women, so it's understandable why they believe in AWALT.

The thing that I am entirely against, though, is dread game, as well as other forms of emotional manipulation. In my opinion, if a man truly is highly desirable, he will not need to resolve to such tricks in order to keep women around. Similarly, I'd advise women not to lie about their N-count, values, or to pretend to be someone that they aren't, as these things will come out anyway. The best way to find a great relationship, is to learn what the other side wants by looking at their actions, becoming such a person, and screening very hard for the person that has the qualities you desire.

Honestly I get it. I think part of the doctrine comes from a place of extreme self hatred and I can understand having an esteem that low as a woman that makes you feel like absolute shit. Sometimes feeling that bad about yourself can really manifest into hatred.

Some things I see really concern me and upset me. When ISIS took over Kabul, a lot of posts I saw on red pill forums were about how ‘based’ they are for putting women in their place, and that it was a good thing that women were removed from Kabul University. Not to mention all the general crap in their forums being sort of normalised - stuff about how women ‘belong’ next to a man, pedophilia being regular, and r*ping women. Whilst some things are are normal like self improvement, there’s just a whole hogwash of ‘holy fuck’ moments throughout posts.

I think a lot of them don’t understand that love isn’t black and white. Some of the most conventionally attractive people I know can’t even get casual sex because they’re too much of an asshole. Well... It was hard to watch for me, because I learned as I was growing up to be feminist and to take care and protect other women from men. I learned that men were more violent and agressive and that I had to take care of myself. Later I learned that women also use verbal and psychological violence like men, wich made me question a lot. But in everything I learned I did not question once the fact that some men also feel opression from the system we live in, as an exemple for prison time and to be a legal gardian. So it made me aware of those issues. But, I still believe TRP shows extremists who are unable to try and listen to what the other person is saying. It would be much more efficient to listen to both sides of the story to find solutions to a broken system than to say it's just another person's fault. All I saw in TRP were people screaming at each other basically highlighting the same issues, but from different perspectives. I think some rationnal human beings who would discuss those issues and know how to deal with their emotions better would make a better job at changing things. Anyways just my opinion.

TRP is not concerned with how women view them if they are holding frame properly.

But a mixed bag because TRP is not one group of people. There is a trad con element who like to mix God stuff with manly man stuff.

There is a Russian/ Eastern European wing who are all uniformly terrible and verbose writers who tend to favor authoritarianism and and banging international sluts and giving super long speeches to other men to " empower " then. Another wing is the coaching/ capitalism/ con man contingent who primarily want to maximize the profitability of male misery and delusion and hornyness while claiming they want to " help" them.

There are the guys who read a paragraph somewhere and go around repeating the phraseology and some basic ideas as if they invented them. We also have the anger phase guys who are angry. There are guys who say things like " read the sidebar " or that comment was hold brother".

I think trp shows an interesting perspective, and points out how far we’ve gone from traditions that were family focused. I think family is extremely important and we’ve infantilized teens and young adults to the point that getting married before 25 seems unreasonable, but growing up together can be beneficial to a couple if they have an upbringing that teaches them how to have healthy relationships. Our culture is so chaotic and decisive at this point that no matter what perspective you look at, things get taken to an extreme that is delusional and hateful. I think it would be beneficial for most of society to take a few steps back to focus on family without destroying progress we’ve made in gender equality. Women can still choose to follow career, but most would probably be better off focusing on family, and letting work be more flexible like it was back in the day. Red pill seems to focus so much on HVM instead of what and average family would look like. Divorce laws need some revisions. And culturally we need to get back to a point where it’s understood that marriage isn’t about individual happiness, but rather family. Of course there’s room for those that don’t want or can’t have children, but over all marriage should be taken back to a point where it’s understood, the children are the reason you stay together, unless things just get totally unreasonable of course (cheating, abuse, etc)

Here’s the deal. I’m a guy.

As a general matter, the fear of an average female, in the context of dating a man, is that she will suffer some type of physical harm. On an individual level, the average male typically has greater physical strength than the average female. Thus, if he wanted to physically overpower her and cause her harm (leaving aside the severely deleterious social consequences that would inevitably befall him immediately thereafter), he probably could.

Conversely, the fear of the average male is that the female will destroy his life socially (by shaming and isolating him from his friends and family and social network), or by taking more draconian measures (making false allegations to the police and having him incarcerated against his will). On the other hand, if a woman “destroys” (or even “attempts to destroy”, whether in jest or not) any man, there really are no deleterious social consequences against her at all. In fact, more often than not, women are not shamed at all for emasculating and denigrating and even destroying men, nor do women really suffer any adverse consequences at all. Instead, women are commonly lauded and even deified for “taking down the patriarchy” and destroying another man, so as to further advance the cause and agenda of the “future is female” narrative, together with feminism, female empowerment and entitlement, etc. Men and women both know this, as well.

This, at its very root core, is the primary cause and source of the imbalance between genders, and the gender war that has resulted, and the birth of the red pill movement several years ago, that has brought us to present day.

Some is coping, some is valid, some are angry and bitter. They are more a minority even though its grown.

I dont consider any pill a philosophy. There are some truths to all 'pills' and can learn/see many sides.

Ive experienced the opposite of what is said here a lot but I do know Some are like that on either side. Its just not a norm in my life experience and a minority.

Has some good insights, but also supports an overly cynical,tit-for-tat, ruthless approach that can be counterproductive, downplays the importance of acting in good faith to the extent possible, and fails to adequately acknowledge the value of certain (social) assortive mating strategies.

It also goes too far with making strong assumptions based upon somewhat limited information, that are not always accurate.

Good in practice but way off base when it actually comes down to figuring out how women actually think. Redpill works best if you practice more than you read otherwise its just mental masturbastion and blackpill fuel.

If I was a man I would read the sidebar and basic stuff like Laws of Power but not engage in the “community” since its full of bitter delusional people
