If men represent 75% of all murder victims, 91% of workplace deaths, and the vast majority of violent assault victims without considering SA, (and still slightly more at risk of violent assault when we consider SA as a type of violent assault)… Why are women more fearful of violence than men?
Is it because SA is so deeply personal? Is it because we socialize women to be more fearful of violence? And why does society view women as more at risk when the numbers so clearly state they are far safer?
