A casual sex past is ick for me, too, which is a bit different than simply being high n, which I don't care about in and of itself (although most high n people are high n because they had casual sex). No previous cheaters, either, although I consider cheating basically casual sex because no formal relationship between the new partner has been established.

Other than that, I have preferences, but those are the only two things I can think of that would instantly turn me off.

There have been a couple times where I was getting along really nicely with a girl that I was starting to date and then I would get a warning from a mutual guy acquaintance about her past. That's all I needed to hear. Another one is an overly combative woman that uses words like mansplain and toxic masculinity.

Being obsessive, low self esteem(while not being afraid to show it, and constantly fishing after compliments, or just straight up not being able to control how they show their low self esteem) and just being a "yay girl" as in thoose hyperactive overly happy women you'll meet every now and then especially when clubbing. I think women need to keep in mind that the 'ick' in men refers to romantic attraction ONLY, not sexual attraction, there is almost nothing that can override the desire to have sex if the woman is physically attractive, because thats entirely what triggers the will to fuck, regardless of how repulsive that woman may be for romantic attraction, because there is no danger in sexuality as men dont bond over sex, cant get pregant and there is no physical threat of mistreatment around sensitive parts without being able to stop it, so no trust is required.

In terms of romantic attraction that would be:

-masculine behavior, like being dominant, bragging, taking pride in achievements, talking down on people, not emotional, tries to appear independent, being cold, being rude, being emotionally closed off, violence of any kind, attitude towards children, towards sex, promiscuity and any kind of public exhibition of sexuality, display of ego, attention seeking behavior, manipulative behavior... All these things would kill romantic attraction instantly.

-anything that relates to damaged sexual identity, weird non feminine sexual actions, including being bisexual

In terms of sex, only violence against animals or children or lack of disgust for disgusting things can kill the desire to fuck, as it triggers a kind of antagonism/hate/disgust that can override sex drive

What they really want is just to not have to worry of think about their N Count--just one more thing to make them feel bad. And if men don't have to worry, why should they?

A lot of women demand commitment really early and its a thing I've seen both scare men and many women off. If your relationship is still really new and you start talkint like the guy is the one or bring up marriage in an even joking way it can come off as really creepy reallt fast.

When you're still in that getting to know each other phase you don't like, actually know each other very well. You've been dating anywhere between like a week to a year and you're still learning a lot about each other pretty consistently. If you're making gestures that this person is The One it gives a sense you're just looking to be in a relationship and get married and don't really care to who.

Which I think is why more men than women will put a "we'll see what happens" type of air up early on. Even if they want marriage they haven't decided the relationship they want with you and if you're the kind of person they'll be introducing to their family and signing a mortgage with. Its not even about exclusivity in a relationship fundamentally, which is much easier to establish, so much as the discussion itself is tantamount to signing a lifetime contract to someone you've had coffee with a few times, which is what it basically is very often.

Usually, these are personality issues for me. Though I did have one date back in … 2000 or so. This woman was nothing like her pictures, her toddler was a monster, and to top it off, somehow she stole my credit card. The only reason I didn’t drive off was because I kept to my word. Someone who cheated or flirted too much while being on a relationship and being too arrogant/entitled towards the waiter gave me an "ick" once.

Edit: The biggest "ick" was from a girl I have been with and then I learned I was the only out of 10 she did safe sex with. MASSIVE turn off.

People who do the verbal equivalent of leg-humping when the other is just there with one leg being humped and the other trying to get away.

People who brag about manipulating others through lies/deception.

People who must have it their way, or they will be sure to punish those who defy them.
