Sexual Strategy is how resources (energy and time) are invested into the raising of an offspring.

Women have 2 strategies:

Pair Raising children: the main strategy where a male and female join together to invest in their own offspring. I suspect that this accounts for most human relationships by quantity.

Alpha Fucks Beta Bucks/Cheating Strategy: where a women will try to have a 'sexy' male father her children, while getting a good father to raise them (usually by tricking him that he is the father).

Compare this to the Male strategy (or arguable 2 strategies)

Partner + Cheating: This is where a man has a primary relationship where he fathers children with a women and invests in their offspring, but then takes any opportunity to impregnate a fertile women with minimal investment. The second half is very rare, but the genetic gain is so high that most men will not be able to resist the urge.

(not discussed here) Rape strategy: where loser males try and sneak an opportunity on a woman.

The Male strategy needs to be justified because it is not standard theory here.

Compare this situation: A very attractive male and female are happily partnered. While separate, a much less attractive female approaches the man, and a less attractive male the woman. They both offer an affair with no strings attached, with no reputational damage whatsoever. Do any of the partners agree?

Given this situation, most of the conflict between men and women is due to conflicts between the Male strategy and the Female strategies:

  • Most women prefer the first strategy, however if they are unable to secure commitment from a lover, they will attempt to rope in another man to help raise her child. Men will prefer the first half of their strategy by default. These defaults are set by community. Communities raise the costs of for Men to perform the second part of their strategy, and for Women to perform their second strategy.

  • The second strategy for women is more genetically preferred, while the second half for men is extremely preferred. With no social community these strategies will be followed, however those urges are held in check by society.

  • Bad Men will try and feign that they are doing the first half of their strategies then disappear after sex. Bad women will try to trick men that they are performing their first strategy while playing the second.

  • RP world view (specifically TRP worldview) often ignores that AFBB is ONE strategy, and doesn't appreciate the dual nature of the male sexual strategy. It is based on trying to grant men the ability to perform the second part of their sexual strategy.

  • BP world view often either ignores that there is a second strategy for women, or tries to glorify the second strategy as honourable (to both men and women). It also ignores the dual nature of the male strategy, dismissing the second part as 'toxic masculinity'. Extreme BP world views put all male sexuality except 'losing' to the second female strategy as negative masculine behaviour. The last sentence is the key gateway to the RP anger phase.

  • The last two points is why TRP is 'amoral'

Discussion Points:

  • Thoughts on the topic?

  • Does anything not logically follow?

  • Are there any key human sexual strategies that are not simply special cases of one of the three? (e.g. a man not having a primary invested partner is not that distinct from their strategy).
