FWBs happen all of the time if there is mutual attraction between teh friends. Those kind of things take time to develop, so perhaps one can't be too friendly if one is trying to just pick up a stranger for casual sex, but there's usually an eventual benefit to having female friends if that friend sees you as attractive enough and there is sexual tension between the two of you, as some women don't feel comfortable enough having sex with a guy unless he's at least a friend first.

That’s pretty simplistic. If you reframe it as “you have to show them you’re interested sexually early on”, I’d agree with that. In that respect I understand not seeing them as friends. Not seeing them as people sounds mildly subhuman though.

You could try the friend route if you’re really low confidence, just mentally prepare for an agonizingly long wait with a 90%+ chance of rejection at the end. You’re better off getting the rejection out of the way right off the bat.

You can see them as people, just not as friends, never let her put you in girly chat mode.

Not sure about the aggressive part either, you should have a dominant in control frame which is really just assertive. You only do aggressive when you have to force her into your car boot at the end ).
