Wow they're really desperate with the propaganda aren't they?
Because nothing saves money like putting on clothes you don't feel comfortable in, taking an hour long train into the city, walking in the rain, sitting at a desk, working 9 hours since commuting and lunch don't count, spending more extra money on various coffee, lunch, or snacks that you wouldn't be doing at home, then wasting about hour taking a train home, then maybe find an hour to go to the store to buy something for dinner, then do all the chores you could have been doing in little 5 minute increments during a conference call.
Yeah that won't save money and stress. It's been scientifically proven people hate working in comfortable clothing in their own homes and feeling like they have some sense of control over they lives.
Yeah, that's what people hate. Tons of extra hours a day for their lives, while producing the same output as before, or more.
The propaganda is so hilarious. They even had to throw some retarded socialism in to get the stupider millennials and boomers mad.

Leftists always do this shit... another example: advocate for student loan forgiveness while failing to notice that the vast majority of student debt is held by the highest income people. Student loan forgiveness would be the largest immediate wealth transfer in the history of this nation.

Well they’re wrong. Nearly all high income earners own significant capital. It’s the only feasible way to really retire comfortably.

Their investments do ultimately generate the income where they don’t need salaried income anymore... That’s the entire point of retiring. They typically do own multiple properties which they ultimately sell or rent too.
Your assertion that high income earners don’t own capital just because they have student loan debt is absurd lmao

From the arguments and demands I’ve seen, a blanket loan forgiveness policy is being proposed, not forgiveness contingent on “wealth” or “capital.”
We’re not talking about the seriously wealthy though. We are talking about people in the 80th percentile of household income ($127,144.40) of which the vast majority of student loans are held by. Student loan forgiveness would be a massive income wealth distribution in favor of people already in the top 20% of income earners. It would increase wealth and income equality, not decrease it - even if you did any stipulation on capital ownership.
The absence of the 20%'s debt obligations and liabilities would only further funnel their income towards even more capital ownership, creating a feedback loop that is antithetical to your own proposed goals.

The 80th percentile is $119,000 per year. Do you have any sources to back up that the average student loan holder makes that much? I highly doubt it.
That is not the argument. The argument is that the majority of student loans are held by people within the 80th percentile. https://www.brookings.edu/blog/up-front/2019/06/28/who-owes-the-most-student-debt/
9 percent of total student loan debt is owed by the bottom 20 percent and 27 percent by the top 20 percent.
Also $119,000 is not as much as you seem to think.
You are still misunderstanding everything here. That is the point. $120k is not that much considering their loan obligations. The absence of these obligations via forgiveness would only further funnel their income towards accumulating more capital ownership, creating a feedback loop that is antithetical to your own proposed goals.
There is no hypocrisy in being left and supporting student loan forgiveness.
Yes there is in the form of unintended consequences, as these high income owners will only further accumulate and begin to accumulate capital in the absence of their loan obligations. By forgiving student loan debt, you are essentially freeing the cash flow of higher income earners that will ultimately be used to accumulate capital instead. The student loan debt obligations will merely be replaced by debt obligations of real property.
