I actually have a perfect example of this IRL.

DESCRIPTION

There is a friend of a friend. She's 19, and an... Almost objective 8.5/10. 5'11". She goes to some christian highschool, and doesn't plan to go to college. So basically a bartender.

She's not interesting, very stuck up and it's not even because she's "religious" (which if you knew her, you'd doubt it). She has no hobbies, just goes out and parties.

MY POINT

She has the... HIGHEST standards for men.

If you're not 6'5", forget it. If you don't have a car, forget it. If you don't have your own place, forget it. If you don't have a job, forget it. If you don't like to buy expensive things, forget it. If you don't take her out to restaurants and trips, forget it. If you don't like her dress "like she's single", forget it. If you don't like that she has mostly male friends, that she's either slept with, or that want to fuck her (she knows this btw, but likes to keep them around), forget it.

It's like... The only "value" she's been given was when she was born with a pretty face and a good body.

And yet, she has these unrealistic standards.

Whereas men have to go above and beyond to prove themselves, no matter how they look. A small flaw could disqualify you as a partner. Literally not having a car for some women it could be a deal-breaker...
