I have heard it over and over that the current policies at place in the OECD states are benefitting men, over women, when it comes to patenthood.

I would argue that a shared parental leave, based on the avg income of each individual, is as close as we can get to a system that is gender neutral, and provides equal opportunities to both parties, without destroying the economy. According to some, this system still favours men.

What policies a government should introduce then, if the above is still unsatisfactory?
