I think its selection bias. I big part of the issue seems to be guys who are not exceptional but want to play the casual sex game.

By default they will end up with women playing the same game.

Normal people start to form LTRs, and this sort of funnels either those who are avoiding an LTR and undesirables all together (those who due to personality issues are bad for LTRs).

Even in people I know who got divorced, they were all in new LTRs in a year or less.

The market for casual sex forever is small. More men want to play it than women. The women involved tend to be flawed after a certain point.

So the guys who are unsuccessful early on in finding an LTR or who are avoiding them end up thinking everyone is like the women available to them.

Nice introvert women don't go out as much as loud extrovert women and when they do they aren't drawing much attention to themselves. Meaning guys won't notice them nearly as much as bitchy Stacie types looking for free drinks simply because the others aren't drawing attention to themselves. Even if they were next to each other the Stacy type who's more feminine looking and attractive will probably get more attention simply because she knows how to play the game.

It's the same shit as women who bitch all guys are fuckboys and they get hurt over and over. These dudes are a tiny portion of the male population but if you go looking for a dude they'll be one of the most visible demographics and they know how to play the game and flirt, which is rapidly becoming a lost art. So if Freddy Fuckboy is stanting next to Billy Beta he's going to be making eye contact and getting in closer and hyping himself up and all that shit while Billy Beta thinks it's going well if he isn't stuttering. That the fuckboy may be wearing taller shoes or having beginner gains to show off to give himself a visual edge isn't going to help the beta.

less likely to signal openness and availability
less likely to react positively to foreign attention
less likely to be looksmaxed
in a relationship since a very long time

second hand experience/story, so take it as you will.

I have a (male) cousin who had relationships with a lot of women and his longest relationship was 8 months after which he got "bored" and broke up with that woman. He is now 31 and still single, but can get somewhat consistent hookups on tinder and/or clubbing.

He is pretty good looking, fit, has natural charm and a good job. From what he told me, he gets like 1 hook-up every 1-2 months. Most of his social group (as well as mine) is made of people who are either married or in stable LTRs. he has also observed that as he grew older, the quality of the single women he meets and can get has also dropped, due to a lot of quality women being off the market; he also doesn't usually date women who are more than 4-5 years younger than him.

Some of the women whom he dated, would have liked to have a stable LTR with him, but my cousin is really not the LTR type so they broke up. But one time, we both drank a little too much and he admitted to me that he envies that I am married to someone I find as a quality woman and not get bored with it and that always playing "the game" can get tiring.

Again, this whole story is from what I gathered from him over time and may not be 100% accurate. My theory is that he is looking for some kind of a "unicorn girl", but will have a difficult time finding one as a lot of women are already off the market.

Most men aren't finding them out in the real world, but through Tinder or OLD. I don't blame them for that being their only lens through which they view women. If you're no longer in school and aren't in a exceedingly expensive major metropolitan area, pickings are slim.

Lots of single women don't go out much for the purpose of meeting guys. Or even go out at all. Meeting/dating at work is very frowned upon, approaching at the gym (if these women even work out) is the same. Alot of women, if they're looking for a relationship or just sex, use OLD because it's "safer" and easier. Laying on the couch and swiping is much easier than getting gussied up and hoping a guy you're attracted too shows up to do all the work (since women refuse to be proactive and approach).

I knew women that I met through common interests, through Chaddish friends, through nerdish friends, through workplace, through college, and one super-lovely veterinary student girl that I met at a concert, but who unfortunately lived in another city and had to leave by train that very night.

I'll concentrate on one that I met though nerdish friend (which should be the path of least AWALT risk, logically). Great family, cyclist, drummer, piano player, environment activist, blonde shortie; was super-friendly (which I misinterpreted as indicator of interest); had enough guts to tell me that she isn't interested in dating me. Within several months after our "farewell date" (I was not interested in staying friends), she met a musician with perfect hairline who successfully broke her seal, and dumped her a month later, motivating it by "we aren't socionically compatible" (I. Shit. You. Not.).

Women "of good moral character" are still women. Women aren't bad for liking male attractiveness, being provided for, feeling small in their man's presence, or "feeling full" in their "other" presence; none of these preferences are illegal.

If by "good moral character" you mean a woman who doesn't care about her man's attractiveness, height, dick size, or income, then.... why?!

They do exist out there, these types of women. I have only come across 1 real life gold digger (and she informed me she had given up gold digging as she had started shop lifting when she tried to get back with me). The other women who some of my mates classed as gold diggers, were not, it was down to me not having boundaries and happily flashing cash, I was offering so why would a woman say no. Most women I have dated are nothing like this at all.

I'm sure Im not the only guy who did this. However I will happily admit, I should of had common sense and boundaries.
