I saw a brief discussion about this in another PPD thread, where someone was saying that millennial women are the first generation of women with complete economic freedom. As a result, fewer of them are "settling down" in the way previous generations of women did and if they do settle down, it's taking them much longer to do so. I suppose Generation Z (the generation after millennials) will follow the same pattern.

I myself observe a lot of women in their 30's who are still single and haven't settled down yet. I don't know whether they are looking for a boyfriend or just not that bothered, but it's quite alarming to see so many women like this.

Why do you believe so many women are not settling down these days? And what will be the resulting social implications of this 10/20/30+ years into the future?
