This is something I've observed in life. Whether it comes to social situations, love or sex, it is always males who end up involuntarily isolated and lonely. In school at a young age, it was always males who were social outcasts without any friends. When they're older, it's always males who can't find a member of the opposite sex who wants to spend time with them. It is always males who end up playing video games, turning to alcohol/drugs and excluding themselves from society because no one wants to be around them.

But contrast that with females, I've never come across a female who no one wants to be around them. In every social situation I've encountered, I've never seen a woman who is isolated and lonely and no one wants to talk to them. I've never seen a woman who no man wants to be around (they always have at least 1 man who would like to spend time with them, and usually a lot more than just 1). They always have at least someone who wants to talk to them, get to know them and be friendly. This seems true regardless of what the woman is like as a person or what she looks like.

This is intriguing. Females are never isolated and lonely (aside from very old widowed females), whereas there's a wide spectrum for males - some males are completely isolated and lonely, whereas with other males, everyone wants to spend time with them.

Has anyone noticed this and why do you think this is?
