Attention and free meals would at least be something. In reality, even those are rare. You might get a social media like with any degree of regularity, but that's basically worthless.

…and I think many or even most of us don’t get that much attention IRL or on social media. More than the majority of men, for sure, but I think a lot of guys at least on this sub overestimate the total volume of male interest the average woman gets to start with.

First of all if she’s using guys for free meals then she doesn’t really deserve any good options. But I’ll agree that most of the options a woman has aren’t good options. But if a woman has 5 good options out of every 50 dudes that shoot their shot, for example purposes, that’s still much more good options over a smaller period of time when compared to men unless he’s a guy putting multiple hours everyday into pursuing multiple women. Which if a guy is working a good job trying to meet the financial standards women want, and working out 5 days a week to meet the physical standards women want, it’s going to be very hard to have all those hours to pursue women.

And part of the problem is that there’s a good chance the good options a woman has gets brushed over because he doesn’t have the highest sex appeal and maybe is just cute or something instead of hot. But to be fair, anything online is set up to prioritize sex appeal. Very likely intentional so that way people have to keep coming back and using the apps.

Women are generally going to have more options than men yes I understand many of those are going to be sexual options but for each of them there's plenty of guys that would love nothing more than just to be a good boyfriend and potentially husband to some of these women, so no sympathy from me lol

Women today want partners. Can't step up to that? You will be without a partner hoping for a Depression that doesn't affect your wallet but only the object of your lust, or sex bots.

What does it take to be a partner!? Be someone who would be an awesome dad. Which means engaged with the life you live, not a screen.

Most women don’t really get all the free meals and constant positive attention, either. More than the average guy since men are generally the approachers, and especially in online spaces where there are a lot more men than women. But nowhere near what men here seem to think. I would guess men are going by social media models, who might not always quite resemble real models, but are still in the top ~10% of women and have major followings.

To be honest, I agree because just because you have tons of people around doesn’t mean they’re of good quality. Most times it makes things worse because you might have to politely reject a lot before you find something worth settling for.
