Generally speaking I do think women tend to prefer more masculine looking men as they get older, but this is too large of a generalization. A big factor is that as men get older they look less “feminine,” and most women don’t want to date men a lot younger than they are. I’m in my late 20s and not that into the “twink” look generally speaking, but some men with more “pretty” faces can be very attractive. I’m not that strict in my “type.”

This seems like more of an experience thing than something to debate over. I once saw a total MILF with what I would call a twink he was super skinny, and had a pretty feminine looking face. Havent seen any data on this, but I guess I could agree with the statement that older women want more masculine men.

Edit to add: I think it also has to do with generational norms of how a man feels comfortable presenting himself. Millennial men (so, ~25+) are often still stuck in the mindset of what a “masculine” man should look like. So the there’s only a small pool of more feminine men for women of similar ages to choose from. Gen Z men are way more willing to be more feminine presenting, express themselves, and not conform, so there’s more options for younger girls, so you’re more likely to see them paired up.

I'm not that masculine looking. Usually the women who are attracted to me that are over 25 have been Asian. Since there are a lot of Asian women in the world, I'm pretty sure that there are many older women who are attracted to men who don't look as masculine as other men.

that being said it's rare because ''cute'' guys usually don't exist past age 25, unless its some kind of superhuman asian celebrity in makeup, that being said early 20's woman are the optimal age anyway, so why does it matter.

i feel like newer generations ight like it when older more often than before though, since cute innocent looking guys are getting more normalized now, we can never be too sure if it's maturing or generational difference.

There's difference between twinks and feminine-looking men. Twinks is kinda outdated, while feminine men can have any type of sexuality.

With that being said, I was never opposed to dating a feminine man, especially if we had a vibe and we were attracted to each other. My less real male crush, some people might have seen him as feminine, but he was really well-groomed and had a babyface, while being 40 ish. But, it was his personality that made me have crush on him in those days.

I thought it was only me, so many people on the internet make arguments about how “but but explain why girls love baby face guys or pretty bois then” but in reality I only see that among young 13 to 24 year old girls in all my experiences irl, never ever seen 25+ yo women interested or turned on by these guys, but they all still go crazy over masculine seeming & looking men.

Studies in many, many different cultures have shown that women generally prefer a mix of feminine and masculine facial features over purely masculine features in a man. And from personal experience, I am 30 and find pretty boys very attractive. A lot of body hair/overly masculine features/balding/very muscular are all turn offs for me.

I'm attracted to curvy shapped men. I love men with a fat ass and wide hips. I think men look amazing with an hour glass figure. It looks better on men because of their wide shoulders and sculpted thick legs.

Men look better with feminine figures because it highlights their masculine features IMO.

I do not like weak or recessive jawlines though. But I don't consider that to be "feminine" more so a general defect.

I also think androgynous men are very handsome, especially if they have long hair.

Women who aren't on dating apps largely select for who selects them first. If he's not making a move, neither is she.

I am strictly referring to having a face that has what people in the west consider to be 'feminine' culturally: like prominent cheekbones, but a softer jawline, a more delicate face that doesn't ooze lumbersexual 'tree chopping' powerlifter dude bro energy.

A better (sharper) jawline is considered more attractive 99% of the time. Most men that get labeled feminine, East or West, typically still have quite good jawlines. The chin might be less prominent/square however.

I work in service and see women over 25 date almost every type of guy: meatheads, baldies, fat guys, short guys, intellectual so called 'soyboy' looking men, but I never see a woman date a twink. And as one myself I seem to be getting attention either from gay men or teenage girls, never women my age.

That's because most "twinks" are actually just gangly looking nerds, not kpop esque dudes.
