Basically a guy who came home drunk while his gf had friends over.
He went to sleep, then vomited all over himself, which made his gf check on him. She then proceeded to undress him and bathe him while he was still severily drunk... with the help of her friends... even though he repeadetly said no... and be basically woke up naked the next day, still feeling anxious and embarrased.
So I (20M) went out partying with a few buddies and we all came back wasted. I live with my girlfriend and I came home extremely drunk. My friends put me to bed and left. My girlfriend (19F) had two or three friends over.
I ended up throwing up on myself and my girlfriend came to check up on me and saw some puke on me. So she and her friends lugged me to the bathroom, took all my clothes off, and gave me a bath. Like a scrubbing everything with a sponge bath, butt naked. I was semi-conscious at the time and half aware of what was happening but barely able to move. I mumbled “Stop” and “No” a few times but I don’t think they really heard. Even drunk me was humiliated to be naked in front of all my girlfriend’s face.
So they washed me then put me to bed with a blanket over me, without putting clothes on me. I woke up hungover the next day and could see I was naked under the covers. I immediately put clothes on and my girlfriend and her friends had slept over (they were doing a movie night thing) and they were already up. They all started giggling and I felt super self conscious. One of them complimented me and said I was handsome.
I told them I was totally not okay with what they did. Their expressions immediately changed and they all started yelling they just helped me and I had no leg to stand on. I reiterated they were not allowed to wash me without my consent especially if I was able to talk and I was going to be talking to someone about it. They freaked out but I pushed past them and left. I haven’t gone back yet but I’ve been getting tons of texts begging me not to do anything. They keep saying when you’re drunk friends are supposed to help you out and clean you up. So now I’m asking: should I? Should I do something about this? What do I do? Am I wrong to feel exposed?
What?! I must be crazy, I’d be grateful af that my gf and even her friends wouldn’t let me sleep in my own vomit. The bathing part is weird, but fuck it. Drunk people, drunk solutions.
The fact that he told them to stop and they didn’t, and the fact that they told want anybody to say anything, is what makes this so bad. If it was only his girlfriend I wouldn’t see a problem with it.
Im gonna give some leeway in that, maybe they didn’t hear/comprehend him. No and stop are easy words to say, but short enough to get muffled over several women, probly giggling, and a dude sloshing around in a tub. I just think the guy is overreacting - a tad. The ladies did overstep a boundary that the guy apparently had, and that needs to be remedied. However I think he coulda handled that next morning a lot better.
Yeah. I don't get the point of this post. The first few top comments are supporting OP in his decision to do something about it. This isn't a pussy pass until OP decides not to do anything or whatever legal action he decides to pursue decides against him.
My sister in law did something similar, but it was far from rape. She found her husband in their den, passed out drunk, with puke all over him. She was pregnant (5 months) & couldn’t lift much so she called me. We lived in the next block. My husband & 4 older kids had gone hunting that weekend, so I came over with my 10 year old son. We dragged him upstairs, took off his clothes & washed him off & put him in the guest room. Think he might have been a little embarrassed afterwards , but we never mentioned it. Also, it wasn’t like a common occurrence . He wasn’t even a heavy drinker, but he’d been thru hell recently. His father had committed suicide 3 weeks prior. His parents were going through a bitter divorce. Don’t know why it took so long, their fights were epic. They even fought at my wedding reception. ( we were an interracial couple & she’d made a few racist remarks after a few drinks). Even though they were older (in their 60s), and all their kids were grown, she chose the divorce filing to let him know 2 of his kids, weren’t his (twins), but his coworker (he was a cop). She also let him know his father was asking for him, when he died ( long story) & she hid it from him. He shoots his ex partner from the force and then kills himself. I haven’t though of this for some time, but this post brought it all back.
I remember being blind drunk on a coach trip. There are no toilets on a coach so I had to piss in a bottle. As I was trying to urinate in the corner, there were at least two girls I knew who were constantly trying to catch a glimpse.
Luckily for me, my male friend decided to shield me. And even then, they were still trying to catch a glimpse.
Women are just as perverted as men. I'm surprised people still think they are innocent, harmless angels
I have not once in 40+ years been blacked out drunk. It's not a hard thing to accomplish. Don't fucking drink too much and be aware of your surroundings and what's going on.

Then the next morning we could all laugh at her when she comes out and we are thinking of her nude body, and one of my buddies says “you sure are pretty.” What the fuck is appropriate about that? Does that sound like having someone’s best interest in mind?
Let’s pretend I couldn’t carry her: if anything, I’d ask them to help me set her in the tub then leave, I’m pretty sure I can undress her and wash her on my own. Then redress her before having them help me carry her to bed. Better yet? They don’t even need to come in the room, I can take off her soiled clothes/sheets and use a wet rag to clean her up.

'Tis a fair cop, but all of these people here are stupid kids so who knows what their thought process was.
They should have just stripped him down to the undies and sprayed/dumped water over the offending bits.
Ah wow they actually did downvote me. Pathetic much.
It’s shocking how many times you hear “They got me drunk and then...” like no Barbara you chose to drink, THEN a seperate thing happened.
Victim culture is very real. But please note people I’m talking about functioning adults ONLY, not underaged or mentally impaired people. That’s a whole different kettle of fish.
Are you serious? It would be no different if Barbara chose to drive her car, THEN a separate thing happened (let’s say someone decided to run her off the road into a telephone pole). Or let’s say Barbara chose to go on a flight that happened to be on 9/11 and she got slammed into the twin towers, her fault right??? Just cause Barbara chooses to drive a car, get drunk, or fly in an airplane doesn’t mean that people can violate her rights or break the law.
That’s not what I’m saying at all. Everything you listed is a NECESSITY. Maybe she loses her job if she doesn’t fly, and in the west car travel is almost always compulsory.
Drinking is recreational drug use in every context. It’s 100% an unforced stupid idea to get blackout drunk. That’s on the dude in this context. Of course the girls raped him, but there are two different sets of stupidity here.
Let’s go back to Barb. When she was a young woman she enjoyed taking midnight walks in Rapist Forest. She knew what a rapist was, and what the forest contained, but she enjoyed the fresh air in the forest. One night, she was ambushed by the local priest and she was never the same again. Who is at fault here? The rapist obviously, but also the idiot who willingly put themselves in harm’s way, blindly trusting that strangers would keep her safe.
I never said that getting blackout drunk wasn’t a stupid choice. Of course it is. So, okay. That’s not the point.
Actually not even a single point was a necessity. And it doesn’t make my argument any weaker if I change them to being unnecessary. Let’s say Barb was driving over the speed limit, racing to the bar to go get drunk. Someone is driving slower in front of her so she swerves around them angrily and flips them off. Is Barb being stupid? Of course. But that doesn’t mean that someone should sentence her to death by ramming her off the road.
Or let’s say she was on the plane ride on her way to go visit the #1 strip club and get blackout drunk. Does that make it any better or worse than if she was going to lose her job?
You seem to be either very biased against alcohol or completely lacking empathy. If you tell your son to look both ways before crossing the road, he doesn’t, then gets hit by a car and paralyzed; is your first response “hey dumbass why didn’t you look both ways when I clearly told you so??”
My point is that just because someone makes a bad choice doesn’t mean they deserve to be killed, raped, abused, etc. Does a kid poking a bees nest deserve to get stung? Sure maybe he’ll learn a valuable lesson. But the consequence is on a scale similar to his “stupidity”. I think what most people are saying is that getting sexually abused probably isn’t a fitting consequence for gettin blackout drunk. I don’t think anyone would be upset if instead, the girlfriend said “I asked you not to come home drunk because I don’t like it, now I’m dumping you. “
To cut to the chase if your argument. Yes, rape is fucking wrong - we’re on the same page there that nobody ‘deserves’ it. But any rational adult knows that blindly trusting strangers can get you killed, raped or robbed. Any smart adult would never take so many drugs they can’t fight off a stranger abusing them.
So the rapist is at fault for being human trash, and the druggie is at fault for an addiction they’ve let get out of hand.
In response to the son and car analogy though...
My first response would be care and compassion, for a period of months or years depending on how well they recover mentally and physically. But then I’m going to have to tell them what a dumbass they were. Because that driver that hit him is going to feel like human shit for a looooong time because of somebody else’s mistake. It could cost the driver their life in the end.
If the genders were swapped the "BF" would not need to get helped by 3 others. Since no abuse occurred and the intent was good, no one would be charged with anything. If the "BF" needed help for whatever reason, I don't see why it would be wrong to do what's needed, as long as it's reasonably handled.
I think it was a really nice thing of the girls to do. Cleaning someone from their own vomit isn't fun and taking time from where you were supposed to hang out and have fun with your friends doesn't make it any better. He was irresponsible, they took care of him when he couldn't do it himself. What they did is admirable and I hope that if I ever get a girlfriend and I pass out covered in disgusting and smelly substances, that she and her friends think taking care of me is worth the effort.
Why would you say that? I haven't even implied it and it's not relevant to my comment or the original post. Do you have something against people being positive and not automatically assuming the worst?
Is it difficult for you to explain your point of view? It should be easy and just seems like the nice thing to do, but I guess that's too much to ask from you
I feel you. This story is strongly in the gray area. I think a better solution would be leaving the gf alone when the bf only had his undies on, she can finish the undressing at that point and she can probably do the washing up without help, too. However, at a certain level of drunkness it might be necessary to be supported constantly.
I agree that this is a really nice thing to do, even at the cost of the loss of some dignity -- but nobody is dignified when drunk. I would also say that it was probably medically beneficial, too: if it treated his intoxication a bit, he had less chance of suffocating in his own vomit.
I really don't think it's a grey area. It's just penis, what's so bad about it? Like 60-75% of women around that age has gurgled dick at some point in the last year, and pretty much every single one has seen a naked man before. Being nude is just embarrassing if the person being nude is being awkward or inappropriate. Although, in this case I do think it can be a bit inappropriate for the girls to comment on the event or to bring it up, but at the same time I can accept that the girls wanted to make it seem like no big deal by making some lighthearted comments (one even called him handsome). What I would find embarrassing, though, would be getting so drunk I can't even stay conscious and then vomiting all over myself and whatever I am currently laying on. That's the only thing in this case, which I would consider to be a loss of dignity. That, and making a huge fuzz about it the day after, threaten legal action and complain about it on the internet.
WTF is this? You were a complete pussy. Drinking to the point of being helpless? YOU created this situation. You sound like every cunt who gets drunk then complains about those awful men taking advantage of her. You're lucky all they did was give you a bath.
Guess what bud? The moral of this story is: If some woman got pass out drunk and a group of guys decided to strip her down and wash her. They could very well, and most likely will, find themselves sitting in front of a judge and will have a very good chance at serving some jail time.
Just because someone didn't handle their liqueur well doesn't give the rest of the world permission to take advantage of them. You don't tell someone: That's what you get.
LOL, no man or woman can get blind drunk then claim to be a victim of their own intentional stupor you fucking idiot. The dude was lucky all he got was a bath then put to bed. It could have been much, much worse.
You really need to take a chill pill, dude. If it were just the girlfriend helping him that'd honestly be okay, but definitely not with the others touching him and bathing him.
LOL, you really need to get your head out of your ass. If you get blind drunk in a crowd of partiers you'll likely get a lot more than a bath and put to bed like this pathetic dude.
Awesome so if you pass out drunk, I guess it’s okay for your SO with a bunch of fandoms to strip you naked without you consent, and wash you all over.... that’s definetly sexual harassment. Heck we don’t know everything that went down since he passed out so we don’t know everything they did
Well yeah same. But that’s not what happened. The chill thing would have been to change him into a nice shirt. Even if it was just her. The bath thing is pretty sketchy. To strip someone fully naked. And then scrub everything. Dude there’s no freaking way his dick WASNT touched. Just based off their reaction I would be super surprised if they didn’t touch his dick. Dude their intentions were pretty sketchy. And they know they were sketchy considering that they most certainly didn’t want anyone to find out. Dude they were aware of their actions. And how bad they were. Even they know how bad it is. I don’t get why I have to explain it to you
Holy shit your a moron. Dude so basically if you get drunk and someone takes advantage of that. It’s totaly okay to rape you because you put yourself in that position? I don’t drink. But dude everyone else does. Should you do it? Probably not. But you shouldn’t be raped because of it
No..... but it’s still sexual assault. Which makes it still a problem. If you beat someone near to death. You didn’t commit murder. But you still commited assault which is still a crime
Plausible deniability. The girls' defense: we were just giving him a bath. There was vomit everywhere and the sheets needed to be changed. He was too big for just one person to handle so a few of us helped. We laughed but just because it was an awkward situation.
Him on cross-examination. Defense attorney: Who touched you? Him: I don't really remember. Did you ask them to stop? I think so but I don't remember.
Dude you di realizing that you are explaining how bad the situation is. That’s the issue with sexually assaulting someone who is intoxicated. Since their judgement was compromised, it automatically makes them an unreliable witness. AND THAT IS A MASSIVE PROBLEM. Why do you think so many predators and monsters prey on people specifically who are drunk. Because they are in a position where they aren’t capable of getting out of any sketchy situations you put them in.
Also dude. You do realize that he did nothing wrong. He got shit faced drunk sure. But going straight home and then to bed. That’s infinetly more responsible than I would be if I was wasted. He went straight to bed and then barfed. Now then cleaning him up. That was cool of them. But they crossed a line. Would it hold up in court. Probably not. But we aren’t debating if they would be punished. Cause knowing the legal system, they probably won’t be. But when it comes to the morality of their actions. Super sketchy
Also sure that’s the problem with sexual assault. There’s no way to prove it. It’s not like murder and there’s a body. But dude. Not the same thing as MeToo. MeToo basically became a political movement to attack men. But that doesn’t excuse sexual assault
I had a friend nearly die of alcohol poisoning freshman year. Seeing as I was the one taking care of him I can guarantee it’s possible to get that drunk. I didn’t bathe him but I had to remove his shirt and force towels under his head and chest
Yeah dude, you can definitely get that wasted.. Perhaps not you personally, but I'm 100% certain that there are many, many people in that state of wastedness around the world at any given time. I'm not advocating for it but it's not as crazy as you think.

Edit: Forgot to finish some sentences

[+]MrAmazingTreeGuy -8 points-7 points-6 points (4 children) | Copy Link
Why would you say that? I haven't even implied it and it's not relevant to my comment or the original post. Do you have something against people being positive and not automatically assuming the worst?
[–]Kurt751990 9 points10 points11 points (3 children) | Copy Link
Anyone reading what you said can see it.
[–]MrAmazingTreeGuy 0 points1 point2 points (2 children) | Copy Link
I have read my comment, I even wrote it, but it's still not obvious to me. Care to explain?
[–]Kurt751990 0 points1 point2 points (1 child) | Copy Link
Hahahahahaha
[–]MrAmazingTreeGuy 0 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]MrAmazingTreeGuy 1 point2 points3 points (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]Tedfordshire 14 points15 points16 points (0 children) | Copy Link
It's not about whether it's a good idea to get drunk. It's about how differently society would react if the genders were swapped

Victim blaming much?
[+]Dls95405 -8 points-7 points-6 points (3 children) | Copy Link
LOL, no man or woman can get blind drunk then claim to be a victim of their own intentional stupor you fucking idiot. The dude was lucky all he got was a bath then put to bed. It could have been much, much worse.
[–]_wasd123_ 3 points4 points5 points (2 children) | Copy Link
You really need to take a chill pill, dude. If it were just the girlfriend helping him that'd honestly be okay, but definitely not with the others touching him and bathing him.
[+]Dls954050 points [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link
LOL, you really need to get your head out of your ass. If you get blind drunk in a crowd of partiers you'll likely get a lot more than a bath and put to bed like this pathetic dude.
[–]theboxman154 5 points6 points7 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Doesn't sound like you've partied much
[+]PhaedrusHunt -8 points-7 points-6 points (28 children) | Copy Link
I'll say this.
This guy is a fucking idiot. If a woman made similar accusation she may get traction, but she would be wrong.
[–]ethmer25 0 points1 point2 points (27 children) | Copy Link
Awesome so if you pass out drunk, I guess it’s okay for your SO with a bunch of fandoms to strip you naked without you consent, and wash you all over.... that’s definetly sexual harassment. Heck we don’t know everything that went down since he passed out so we don’t know everything they did
[–]PhaedrusHunt 0 points1 point2 points (26 children) | Copy Link
If I'm dumb enough to get that drunk and puke all over myself and my own bed, I actually think it's pretty nice for somebody to clean me up.
[–]ethmer25 0 points1 point2 points (25 children) | Copy Link
Well yeah same. But that’s not what happened. The chill thing would have been to change him into a nice shirt. Even if it was just her. The bath thing is pretty sketchy. To strip someone fully naked. And then scrub everything. Dude there’s no freaking way his dick WASNT touched. Just based off their reaction I would be super surprised if they didn’t touch his dick. Dude their intentions were pretty sketchy. And they know they were sketchy considering that they most certainly didn’t want anyone to find out. Dude they were aware of their actions. And how bad they were. Even they know how bad it is. I don’t get why I have to explain it to you
[–]PhaedrusHunt 0 points1 point2 points (24 children) | Copy Link
Bottom line is he lost his senses and that's his fault.
No evidence.
He's doing the same shit as those #metoo bitches.
They're wrong. So is he. Fuck em all.
[–]ethmer25 0 points1 point2 points (22 children) | Copy Link
Holy shit your a moron. Dude so basically if you get drunk and someone takes advantage of that. It’s totaly okay to rape you because you put yourself in that position? I don’t drink. But dude everyone else does. Should you do it? Probably not. But you shouldn’t be raped because of it
[–]PhaedrusHunt 0 points1 point2 points (21 children) | Copy Link
Was he raped though?
[–]ethmer25 0 points1 point2 points (20 children) | Copy Link
No..... but it’s still sexual assault. Which makes it still a problem. If you beat someone near to death. You didn’t commit murder. But you still commited assault which is still a crime
[–]PhaedrusHunt 0 points1 point2 points (19 children) | Copy Link
Plausible deniability. The girls' defense: we were just giving him a bath. There was vomit everywhere and the sheets needed to be changed. He was too big for just one person to handle so a few of us helped. We laughed but just because it was an awkward situation.
Him on cross-examination. Defense attorney: Who touched you? Him: I don't really remember. Did you ask them to stop? I think so but I don't remember.
He has no case.
[–]ethmer25 0 points1 point2 points (18 children) | Copy Link
[–]ethmer25 0 points1 point2 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Also sure that’s the problem with sexual assault. There’s no way to prove it. It’s not like murder and there’s a body. But dude. Not the same thing as MeToo. MeToo basically became a political movement to attack men. But that doesn’t excuse sexual assault
[+]Gl0weN-4 points [recovered] (4 children) | Copy Link
Im sorry but no person gets so wasted to not be able to refuse a damn undressing and a full bath.
You are drunk not fucking drugged by a pill which atrophies your muscles to push off someoen.
And im a dude before anyone comes at me being like u wouldnt get it
[–]Dr_Burke 4 points5 points6 points (0 children) | Copy Link
I had a friend nearly die of alcohol poisoning freshman year. Seeing as I was the one taking care of him I can guarantee it’s possible to get that drunk. I didn’t bathe him but I had to remove his shirt and force towels under his head and chest
[–]theboxman154 4 points5 points6 points (0 children) | Copy Link
You haven't gotten that drunk then
[–]MiguelKT27 2 points3 points4 points (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah dude, you can definitely get that wasted.. Perhaps not you personally, but I'm 100% certain that there are many, many people in that state of wastedness around the world at any given time. I'm not advocating for it but it's not as crazy as you think.
