I don't like using the draft as a point of gender equality. In the past 10 or 15 years feminists have been talking about how they are for women being entered into the draft and then tallying up their equality points as if they weren't just about giving women the good shit and none of the bad. They point at the draft as if that totally means they are being fair in their new vision of how society should function.

But the draft is completely meaningless. Nobody is going to be drafted ever again, fucking obviously. The military doesn't work that way anymore. It's not about who can throw the most bodies at the other side. That's why they're for including women in it.

This is liking hiding in your bedroom until the entire house is cleaned on Saturday morning then rushing out at 2pm pretending like you're there to help, but gosh darn it everyone finished everything already! Oops. Well, I tried so I get credit for pulling my weight equally!
