Not going to rehash everything that has been said so I'll give some more insight.

The Black Pill is narcissism by making your looks an idol except in a negative way rather than a positive way.

It's not really hard to get into the top 20% of men even looks wise with a below average to average face. 70% of the adult population is already overweight or obese. Most men don't have any sort of fashion or grooming sense. Decent discipline will get you there in a year or less.

Your face is a very small part of what makes you attractive to a woman. I'd say maybe 1-5%. The other 95-99% is your physique, wealth, game, style, hygiene, etc. So no, you're not destined to be a beta because of your facial features.

If you were a woman it might be a bigger issue, but women don’t care as much about men’s looks as men care about women’s looks. If you work hard to be good at something you’ll gain confidence, money, you’ll be interesting to talk to, and that’s all it takes to get women. If you take the black pill and remain ambivalent, you’ll be doomed by a self fulfilling prophecy. Perhaps it is harder for men these days, in which case that’s all the more reason to grind harder.

If a woman is only interested in you because of your looks... You don't need her. Doesn't matter if you're some gorgeous hunk or look like Quasimodo's buttcrack.

I've struggled with body image myself for most of my life (tho I'm a female), and I can guarantee 100000% that no matter what YOU feel about yourself, SOMEONE (and more likely SEVERAL people) will find you attractive--so it's a moot point anyway.

Your walk with Christ is the most important thing. The closer you are to God, the better you and your relationships will be.

Pray that God brings you the right woman into your life at the right time.

The black pill is no better than liberal trash because it pretends that men and women are exactly the same. Men almost exclusively assess a woman's sex appeal by looks, and it mistakenly assumes women are identical to men by also almost exclusively assessing male sex appeal by looks. Men and women are not the same. The sooner you learn that the sooner you can overcome not only idiotic liberal notions, but idiotic black pill notions also.

You sound like you're still single, so you're worrying over idiotic hypotheticals rather than getting down to business. Here's a hypothetical for you: If she's hot and I was still single, she probably COULD do better. But hypotheticals aren't real and I've got a good gig going with my wife, so you actually have a chance.

Back to your point: my wife once commented to me that she wasn't physically attracted to me. Ever. Not even when we were dating and I was in my life's peak physical condition. Yet we have a fantastic sex life. She has commented that she knows she couldn't do better. Why? Because I generate tingles through dominance, desire, kino, etc. You've gotta have game. I believe /u/Deep_Strength has commented before that he's not "classically handsome," yet crushes it in the bedroom. Look at Owen Cook, who's generally short, balding, and (I believe) literally on the autism spectrum, yet is still able to date playmates. The black pill can't account for that.

What is the RP Christian response to the black pill?

Simple: Looks are the difficulty level you're playing on. That's all. If you have generally unfavorable genetic traits, but are otherwise physically fit and dress well, your difficulty level is moderate-to-high. If you look like a male model, your difficulty is low. But both can get the exact same results. One just has to try harder than the other. You can still get tingles flowing just the same as any other guy.

I love the line in the politician where Gwyneth Paltrow's character says: "Yes, it's true that I've been having an affair with Tino McCutcheon. Yes, it's also true that I'm spectacular in bed. I work unusually hard for a woman as attractive as I am." Or that tinder meme with a hot girl on one side with the caption "starfish" and the HB6 on the other with the caption "rides like a porn star." The same concepts are true for men. There's a general understanding that when post-optimization physical quality levels are lower, you're going to have to work harder. The black pill is the idiotic notion that you should just give up because it's impossible - and that only comes from idiots who aren't willing to put in the work.

Do pay close attention to "post-optimization" in there, though. You can't be a literal 300lb slob gamer and think you're going to have enough "game" to overcome those deficits. But even the phantom won Christine over with his wretched face in Love Never Dies (yeah - fiction, but I couldn't pass up a musical reference).

I'll lead by saying I agree with others that you need to start with mission. That said, I'm 5'8", with naturally soft/baby-faced facial features (though I grow a good beard) and an early receding hairline. I think my wife is very sexy, certainly the best-looking woman I ever dated. And she's also pretty naturally drawn to me physically, which seems to be largely a combination of me taking care of myself and simple good luck of chemistry. I've found that some women will just plain like your look more than others will. It's a numbers game.

The truth is that any Christian guy with his life together and decent social skills has it extremely easy with Christian women, because single women vastly outnumber single men in the church, and a majority of the single men that DO exist are very obviously single for a reason (very poor social skills/grooming/etc.)

I don't know a single eligible single man who goes to church. But I know tons of women. I actually feel bad for them. My wife has a cousin (bridesmaid in our wedding) that's a total knockout, late 20s, fun, well-mannered, my wife is pretty sure she's a virgin. She can't find a husband, for the simple requirement that she wants a Christian man who's not a total loser.

These women are all over the place, the men are nowhere to be found.

So as a Christian man with his life together, really your task is mostly vetting, not finding women who will have you as their husband. If that's not the position you're in, then you don't have your life together. Though, to be fair, your early 20s is the absolute hardest time to date as a man.

Here is a study that concludes male physical attractiveness is strongly correlated with 2 things you can control - your weight and strength.

Height, weight and ratings of strength collectively account for approximately 80% of the variance in male bodily attractiveness.

So knock it off with the defeatist attitude and get your butt to the gym! I'm pretty below average looks wise with my face. I started losing my hair in high school.

Also, attractive personality traits are more important than physical. Probably the most important one is confidence. If you're not, fake it till you make it.

Just a tip. HB9 s could be fun to date for a little while, but very few of them escape from developing an attitude of entitlement. For a wife, you're better off with a 7 who has good character, a good attitude, and pleasant personality.

One thing that was an eye opener to me about women is that they have two modes of getting aroused. Guys only have 1. The first is similar to how guys do. For many women this only occurs when they're ovulating and if they do ever initiate, this tends to be when they will. The second mode is a essentially a mode they use to keep a guy. It doesn't get activated until he does something to initiate and escalate (he also needs to be a guy worth keeping). Once it's started, she finds herself just as turned on as the first mode.
