As with most problems today: the destruction of the family as an economical unit and the basis of society.

Blame feminism, marriage being useless, women working, God dying and being replaced with entertainment, capitalism, etc. You can find whole books dedicated to this subject, any answer that you get wont make it justice and will just scratch the skin of a gigantic behemoth.

With that said, books I recommend to get into this: Libido Dominandi and Sexual Utopia in Power.

That should keep you busy for a couple of weeks. Look up books, they always have the answers to your questions. Don't forget about contemplation: to think about what you've read and think for yourself on the reasons for it.

Welfare state, "casual" sex, family courts, among other things... It is indeed a tragedy. Most single parents are mothers and it's incredibly difficult for a woman to raise a man right, to give proper guidance and to initiate boys into the world of men. Replicated en masse, this results in increased crime, poverty, promiscuity, abortions, homelessness, drug abuse, lower IQ, and less opportunities for these children. If we look at the evidence, it is painfully obvious that raising a kid in a single-parent household is tantamount to child abuse.

That statistic does not include separated moms who now have a live-in boyfriend, stepdad, pimp, etc. When those are added in, it's probably more than 50% of children who are not being raised by their actual father. It's difficult to find the real statistic, because social scientists and reporters use data such as "having a father in the home," where mom's chomo boyfriend counts as "a father." And every day, the family courts are creating more fatherless families.

Not all "single parent" households are created equal, however. Lots include a baby daddy whose mail is still going to his mother's house so his "fiancee" remains eligible for Medicaid, WIC, Section 8, LIHEAP, etc.

Bear in mind that "single parent household" in stats includes divorced couples with co-parenting arrangements. The stereotypical "single parent" is the mom whose boyfriend ran out on her and wants nothing to do with the kid. The far more common reality is that dad is fighting for equal rights with the kids and mom is doing everything she can to keep him out of the picture, then she goes around complaining how she's a single mom and the kid's dad is a deadbeat and she needs the world to sympathize with her.

In a technical sense, they're "single" and they're "mothers," but when you have a co-parenting arrangement and the other parent is active and involved, it's hardly what we think of when the image of single parents is "I'm raising these kids all by myself."

There are a lot of legit single moms out there too. But in all my time doing custody cases, I find the legit cases to be EXTREMELY rare. Like ... in over 10 years, I've only seen 3 cases where the other parent was totally uninterested and uninvolved kind of rare.
