Literary recommendations for finding "The Mission".

Please redirect if I'm in the wrong subreddit for this question. It is a recurring theme throughout manosphere thought that there should a centering of one's life around a worthy, lofty pursuit (notably NOT women). A mission as it were. I agree with this wholeheartedly. I realize that I could start with a buffet approach, taking a dallop of every vocation or hobby until something emerges as a "best fit". But I'm curious if there is any detailed, manosphere literature (read, more than a solitary blog post) which gives a systematic, comprehensive treatment to this topic?
