This is a lovely post I just wanted to give a few disclaimers before you read it:

  • She seems to speak highly of feminism at the start, the rest of the article examines the downsides so don't let her earlier statements put you off. It's not really that extreme of a stance, many of you might even agree with it. But I'm just trying to prevent anyone from zeroing in on those few lines instead of the rest of the post which is wonderful.

  • She discounts being a "submissive woman" and then goes on to describe an "attuned goddess" who practices "feminine surrender" LOL I actually love the phrase "feminine surrender" but everything she describes is exactly what we mean by "submissive" on RPW. The mainstream world has redefined "submissive" to mean "doormat" and the BDSM world has given "submissive" it's own definition that not many want to associate with. I say all of this again, to prevent any unnecessary focusing on that aspect of her post :)

  • Her opinion on giving up control of the finances is not an official RPW one - we always suggest that the finances are handled by whoever is the best at it. This often ends up being the man, but if you are handling the finances because it works best in your relationship that's great!

Looking forward to discussing this with you all <3
