I read this book a while ago at the request of a friend who wanted to know if I thought it would be good for her relationship. Honestly it didn't give a lot of tips that actual couples could implement. I agreed with a lot of the ideas, but the writer seems to think it's going to be some hard difficult process to be attracted to your wife or husband. She also seems to think it's some super rare thing for husbands and wives to maintain attraction.
I think it would have been better if the author stressed the importance of modesty. A lot of the problems in the book could have been solved if people closed the door while changing clothes or using the bathroom. Even more problems could have been solved by wearing modest clothes in public and reserving more revealing clothes for husbands eyes only. Also what if the wives in the book had agreed at the start of marriage not to gossip about bedroom life outside of the bedroom? I think that would have solved a lot of the husbands problems of being afraid to state their desires.
