On command is a pretty negatively connotated word - I'll put it this way, if my husband asks for a blowjob he gets it just like if he asks for a glass of water, he gets it. If something is seriously inhibiting me from doing so (such as illness) I understandably don't. I love him and I love it even more when I get to do things that make him happy.

I guess that can work for some couples as long as there's a lot of trust and communication. And that you can say no of you want, don't feel pressured to, and aren't overly objectified. You should take care of your husband's needs but not at your emotional expense. Body autonomy is important. Some people even if rp trad will feel uncomfortable with this dynamic. My fiance has a pretty high sex drive but I try to accommodate his needs with variety. If I say no I usually let him know when I'll be more receptive so he doesn't feel rejected. However if he really wants it he'll just make me (bdsm not rape lol). I think the power dynamics can be potentially a problem (but may not necessarily be one) depending on the relationship. Imo this topic crosses over from rp trad submissive into more bdsm submissive relationship. Don't down vote me this is a huge part of most bdsm relationships. They can be loving and consentful too. Not a bad thing if done right. But if someone can't stand up for themselves and is willing to break limits to make the other happy it can be problematic.

So yeah basically I'm all for it in healthy relationships with limits, safe words, respect, consent, and communication.

I entered the marriage feeling that meeting his sexual needs any time, every time was a top priority. With that said, I totally trust that I could say no to my husband and he would be supportive and understanding. So kinda yes, I would absolutely give him whatever sexual act he asked for on "command" tho my husband rarely comes across as commanding in a rude way. But there's always been a good balance for us - he's kind and wonderful about all things including sex so it's probably easier for me to answer the question.

My husband and I are one of those odd couples where generally my sex drive is higher than his. This doesn't mean that every time he does want it I do, but usually... I do haha! If I don't feel up to it he is understanding, but that is pretty rare for us.

I am content despite my higher sex drive to take care of myself so to speak when he isn't up for it, and I know after 5 years together (and 1 married) that if I try to initiate when he isn't in the mood, it just makes him upset. He will feel like he's disappointing me and beat himself up mentally, and it's not worth his peace of mind for me to "get some". It doesn't bother me if he isn't up for it when I am like it might some women, we work together on the same wavelength in enough of the other aspects of our life that the sex part is nbd.

It’s not on command because I don’t love that work but basically anytime he wants sex or a BJ I’m ready to go, i would rarely say no unless I was sick or something, we both have a high sex drive and can be in mood pretty quickly

My sex drive is higher than his, so in the five years we've been together, I don't think I've ever actually said no? Of course, I could. I just haven't had to, lol. If he's down, I'm down.

We believe that his body is mine as much my body is his. So yes, if he asks for something sexual, I’ll do it, and vice versa. Only sickness can change this rule.

This helps with regulating low and high sex drive, and prevents resentment between us. But I know many couples wouldn’t want that.

I very rarely say no to my husband. He knows I’m not crazy about sex during my period so he doesn’t ask then. But if I can tell he’s wanting some, he gets a BJ.

We’ve become increasingly more “traditional” - meaning I choose to submit to his leadership - that means not saying no (with some caveats) to pretty much anything. But I trust him and he is a good leader so I’m not worried about him taking advantage. He does listen to whatever concerns I may have and takes that into consideration (this is going beyond sex).

I have never been “commanded “ that would dry me up like the Sahara. I could not be with someone like this just thinking about it gave me a stomach ache. I only decline if something is happening that makes it unsafe or very inconvenient. Usually we check to see if things are good to go for that day.

It’s definitely not on “command”, but I do have an understanding that men need sex more often than women. If I truly do not feel up to it, my husband is not going to demand that I still have sex with him ( especially since I’m pregnant right now). But, generally, we try to have sex once a day because that’s what we agreed was a good amount. There has to be understanding, effort (from both people), and good communication in order for you both to have a good sex life.

Sex is pretty much on command in our marriage, but that goes both ways and it's not like either of us is like, "sex. Now. Clothes off." We both sacrifice of ourselves to please the other. Of course if one of us was just really seriously not into it, that would be fine but it hasn't happened in years. It works well for us. I think that's due to 1) it going both ways and 2) pretty similar sex drives, but either way, we're both pretty happy with our sex life currently.

I don’t know that I would call that “on command” though. Like a lot of the replies here, it’s more an acceptance of my husbands needs and my desire for him to be happy.

Hubby has never initiated sex while I was truly ill or injured. I think that’s because when his needs are met and he feels accepted and respected, my health and well-being is a top priority for him.

Men need different things out of a relationship than we do. They are sexual beings. To feel genuinely loved, men need their sexual desires to be accepted and embraced by their wife. That encompasses way more than just the act of intercourse. It includes flirting, mental stimulation, cuddles, soft touches, etc.

Be open and accepting of your husbands sexual needs and he will swim through shark infested waters to bring you a glass of lemonade.

A husband won’t demand sex from his wife when she is ill and cannot be intimate he should be aware of her state too

If a man asks for sex when you’re sick I would say he has the dynamic wrong

A woman is available and remains inviting but the man should be loving and intelligent to know when she isn’t able to not put her between a rock and a hard place
