In this article, Stacy London writes an engaging reflection on the way her style and self perception have changed over the years. Even if you've never seen an episode of What Not To Wear her essay is worth reading, it is an excellent representation of the mentality of a large percentage of women today. There are a lot of insightful points and a lot of ideas that sounds great if you don't think about them too hard. There are also a lot of ideas that are in opposition to what we advocate here, but most are presented in such a nice way that it's easy to see why women believe and repeat them.
I thought we could have a lot of fun discussing Stacy's article from an RP perspective! Let me know what you like, what you dislike, connections you see to RP concepts, and any other thoughts that come to mind after reading. Feel free to also discuss mature fashion in general and your personal experiences when it comes to appearance, identity, and age.
