What did you do with your wedding dress after the wedding?

This is a little unconventional but I occasionally put mine on after a few drinks and twirl around the house (it was a ton of tulle) and remind my husband it still fits 14 years later.

I gave mine to a friend. I bought it when a bridal rental shop was closing so it had seen lots of weddings before mine.

When my mother got married, she had a really beautiful wedding dress, and since I have a similar body shape and size to hers from that time, I am planning to wear it on my wedding day! After the wedding, I will likely keep the dress and pass it down to my daughter (if I have one), or give it back to my mother.

My mom stored hers in a closet for 30 years. If it was expensive I imagine she would have sold it, but it wasn't. I think we gave it to the Red Cross secondhand store when she died.

I'm not married yet, but my mum kept it, and then on her and dad's 25th anniversary where they "renewed" their wedding vows she wore it again. That's probably what I'm gonna do if I ever get married. ❤️

My wedding dress was non-tradititional (dark blue with stars) so that I can still wear it on other occasions.

I wore it for Christmas at my parents since they couldn't come to the wedding (thanks covid!) and for our one month anniversary. I'll probably wear it again for our six months anniversary.

Still have it, 18 years on. It isn't a big fancy one so stores easily. I don't really have a solid plan for it, I might get cremated in it when the time comes, I don't know

I keep meaning to get mine properly dry-cleaned and boxed, but for now it’s still hanging in our wardrobe! I like the fact that I can still put it on if I want - maybe I will on our next anniversary.
