Maybe it's just because these don't apply to me or most of my girl friends, but I feel like this article is just as bad as those that paint all men as bumbling fools who can't do anything right. I like this subreddit and the ideas behind it, so I really hope it doesn't turn into a "shit on all other women" party :/

I'm sorry, I just thought it was cute - I didn't think it portrayed women in a bad light. It made me laugh. I'll go back & reread.

Mostly it's #8 (doesn't any else like to play wrestly and tickle fight?), #6 (yup that's women always blabbering on about stupid topics!), and #2 makes it sound like every husband ever hates his wife. #4 and #1 don't even make sense to me... I don't know, it might be me that's reading the tone wrong but that's what I got from it!

It's cute. I could make a few dozen more of those. My cat is male and does a few things that one could anthropomorphize to both men and women, but my brother's cat, which is female, is veeery girly. She does lots of things all the time which I anthropomorphize as woman behaviour. Not a very smart woman, granted, but then again, she is a cat.

Whoa, number 2 is a little dark! I laughed.

Based on that list, my cats are remarkably unlike cats.
8 - If you try to blow raspberries on their stomachs, both will scratch the shit out of you.
7 - Pay them attention, and they’re indifferent; ignore them, and they’re constantly underfoot.
4 – Both tend to view prolonged, direct eye contact as a sign of aggression.
Those in particular don't apply to these guys: http://i.imgur.com/Vw2Sn.jpg
