So exciting news, I found out recently we're expecting our first child! Which means my husband and I have been cracking jokes about me now literally being "barefoot and pregnant" in the kitchen every mealtime.

That aside, my husband is fairly stressed out about it. We both wanted a child and were actually trying to get pregnant so it's not a surprise, but with the pregnancy not being something that's as personal to him I know he's trying hard not to feel overwhelmed about 9 months from now. Obviously it's a perfectly valid life change to be stressed about, but I don't want the next 9 months to just be full of dread for him.

Does anyone have any advice on how to make my husband feel more connected to the pregnancy and let him enjoy this stage, rather than hyper-focusing on something months away?
