Captain woke me up with something special

In the past, I’ve posted several times asking for help here and there with questions about my brand new marriage.

I feel like I should balance it out and share something my husband did this morning that I just LOVED.

We were cuddling and he totally out of the blue told me:

“You’re a daisy in a dry desert.

You’re a pink butterfly in the Arctic.”

Which floored me. My husband is not expressive with his words typically — and certainly never that poetic.

I loved that imagery SO much.

I think all of us red pill women are daisies in a dry desert.

So here’s to us ladies being pink butterflies in Arctic storms!!
