I just got a bot DM informing me that I have been banned from r/offmychest for participating in this sub and its "promotion of incel/redpill/mgtow ideology." Apparently the users here are "uncontrollable and belligerent." I've got a screenshot of the message I was sent as well. For the record, I've been in this subreddit since 2018 and this is obviously a ridiculous decision by the staff controlling the bots.

I know this is off-topic, but considering that TRP was quarantined and subsequently made private, there's a good chance that r/RedPillWomen will face similar treatment. It seems important to speak up and sound the alarm.

I couldn't say I've been banned specifically because of my participation here. But I have been banned in several subs because of commenting in Tumblrinaction or in Conservative.

A lot of those subs have ban bots that auto ban people who have a history in subs that are deemed "hateful" even when that person has never participated in the sub they're getting banned from before.

I don't particularly mind, but I do find it funny how sensitive and pathetic people can be... I might have different opinions but I've never gone out of my way to be anything but respectful and polite to others. Guess I'm dangerous though.

Funny how these groups are always so "tolerant". They have to say it, out loud and often, or the rest will catch on to how evil they really are. Hiding behind kind words only when it benefits them. These types are so underhanded, which is so not a desirable quality to have, and will ruin all of their their relationships.

I've always been a contrarian lady. I'm sure that between this sub and my membership in r/Conservative and r/Libertarian, I'll get banned from r/bisexual pretty soon. As though being bi is mutually exclusive with being in the subs Reddit does not like HA.

I've commented before on r/bisexual about how I was treated by the LGBT community and people who I thought were my friends. It really comes down to the idea of compulsive heterosexuality or "comphet," which is the mirror image of religious/right-wing people saying that homosexuality is a choice. Basically a bunch of woke ideologues decided for me that I was a lesbian and didn't know it yet, and my heterosexual attractions were just put upon me by society and the patriarchy. The same logic was used to pressure me into being more promiscuous than I was comfortable with, and that eventually ended in a dumpster fire.

I've moved states since then, and I've only recently started opening up to others about my bisexuality as well as what happened. I never told anyone because I thought that my sexual history (even though it's not that bad) would be used against me, as that was my experience in the past, in both directions: shamed by my mother when she found out I was no longer a virgin, then shamed by the gays for not whoring around enough. Granted, plenty of straight women have gotten around more than me, but still.

Short answer is: yes.

Not OP but: Yes.

They (the weird ones) believe being attracted to women is better, or that any partial attraction to men is some sort of "shortcoming" or undervaluing of yourself. They think women are brainwashed, again by men, into being attracted to men. Bisexuals get the worst of it. Sort of like, "if you're capable of being attracted to women, why care about men at all?". It's fucking weird. They act like authorities on sexual attraction.

I remember seeing a post about this recently.

There's a lot of "ew men, men are gross, why not just like women" posts. Which is hurtful to men (I mean, I'd be pretty hurt if women told me I was a horrible gross person on the regular), and hurtful to women who like men. And of course, as you mentioned, bisexuals.

Its also hurtful to lesbians who may have been with a man in the past. It's like "ew, you had sex with a man? You're gross".

On TOP of that, it's hurtful to trans men. A trans man may want to transition, but then all these people come out and say "man pig, man bad", and they start to think "I don't want to be a man, even though I feel like a man" (sadly, I have seen people think this due to this whole "man bad" line of thought)

These kinds of people seem to want to enshrine women as the best because patriarchy or something. It's weird, and downright hurtful; we shouldn't have to tear someone down to elevate ourselves.

u/taikutsuu is right on this. I don't think people realize the degree to which certain sects of the LGBT community are obsessed with oppression, gender, sex, and sexuality. I lived amongst people like this for years -- never again. I still find women really hot, but in terms of the dating scene, it's a lot easier to find a straight guy who isn't like this than it is to find a bisexual/lesbian woman who isn't like this.

Yep! Got banned years ago for TumblrInAction. And, (this might have changed from before) in order to appeal your ban you basically have to beg them to unban you and promise you'll never use those subs again.

Its fine, though. If they don't want to have a calm, polite discussion about things, that's on them. It is a bit cheap to use a bot to do it, and I wish Reddit would actually do something about that portion of it.

A while ago, I was banned from r/breakingmom I never even made a post on this page; I’m not even sure I had commented on any rpw posts at that point. they somehow still banned me. Edit to add, looked back and mods reason was due to “high volume of toxic and rude behavior coming from this sub and toxic culture”

Same exact situation. I hadn’t contributed here yet, just subbed to see what it was all about. That was okay with me. Breakingmoms culture could be a little toxic itself being that you could never say anything that wasn’t congratulatory or back patting. A lot of those women needed a little constructive criticism. It was basically turning into a place that existed solely to validate shitty behavior.

Yeah. They definitely have a way with words, very shortly after they banned me; I remember seeing someone post an article about drop kicking their baby to the moon and I was like, wow. I honestly cannot believe people would even jokingly say something along those lines. And I definitely did notice that while I was still part of that group, any advice given was; it’s not you, it’s your husbands problem or I can’t believe your husband/boyfriend/partner whatever would say something like that or expect that of you. I had commented on one moms post where she honestly seemed like she was dealing with alcohol issues and I pointed out that kind of lifestyle really is destructive and that it will take a huge toll on her relationship with her husband, she’s responded that she totally agrees and that she knows she started a lot of their fights and then people were telling ME that the things I were saying were wrong and how dare I say she has a problem with booze and blah blah blah. Like really??? The mom who posted is agreeing with what I say but some random internet folks are telling me to mind my own. Ah well. The internet, am I right?

R/pregnant is the sane way... 85% of the posts are just people complaining about how horrible their friends, family, partners, etc are... the offending factors? Overused pregnancy jokes and people using the pregnancy as small talk. And don't you dare try to be a voice of reason and point out that it's just people trying to be polite and connect a bit.

Like I guess I know where the stereotype of pregnant ladies being crazy comes from... but something tells me these ladies weren't exactly the most stable prior to pregnancy either.

R/redpill used to be quite different, i think it still has that reputation.

At the start it was all comments like 'all women are bitches. Lie to them and they'll let you fuck them' 'don't take women seriously, they'll ruin your life'

Now it's more 'focus on self improvement, be your best self and the women will follow'

It's a lot less radical, and way more positive now. But why would anyone actually read what's being said right?

Some of the subs do have a bot that will automatically ban users from "hate subs". Offmychest is known to be one of the subs that uses that bot.

I just lurk here. There's /r/banned , they talk about getting banned from subs for participating in a different sub all the time. Haven't seen anyone mention this sub, but it could be the demographic here vs there.

That said, I'm pretty sure Reddit has some rule against that. They let FPH exist for so long because it DIDN'T leak.

I mean, one of our cousin subs is filled with racist incel 16 year olds, and even trough i find this sub to be unharmful in comparison to the other redpill sub, im pretty sure some nasty stuff has been said about the kind of people that end up as admins in reddit commuities.
