There’s only one sure fire way to fix this problem: don’t have sex with a man before you make it official.

Men who only want sex do not care if you want to be their girlfriend. It doesn’t matter what you want if you’re still giving them what they want with basically no strings attached.

I know sex is great and all but a man is not going to seriously pursue you if you don’t give him anything to work for. What’s the incentive for them? This will also very quickly weed out the fakers who only want you for sex so you can save time dating.

Age has nothing to do with maturity. Your peer might be way ahead of the guys you're currently considering. Unfortunately, most of guys are only interested in sex, and as I see it there are very few options for women who want a relationship. Bleak, but at least saves me from overthinking.
