Hi! I (22f) just wanted to share this story. For a long part of our relationship, I’ve been a stay at home wife. I cooked my husband (27m) breakfast, lunch, dinner. Kept a clean house, washed and ironed his clothes, and in general I took great care of him by doing sweet and meaningful things like hiding notes for him, or making him a surprise dessert. I always wondered how noticeable it was, or if it was just normal and expected. But I started working to help bring in more money for our household, and today my husband had a day off while I had to go to the office. Well, I came home and he had made me a very special dinner! I follow a low carb diet, and he specially made me a low carb lasagna! He washed my laundry, made the bed and set a teddy bear on my side, cleaned the house, and made me feel really special and taken care of. And it was such a beautiful feeling!!!! He told me about his day of being the house man (LOL) and going on a nice nature walk and I was really happy to hear of his nice day. This experience really showed me how valuable the housewife is, and I can’t wait to be one again. It was the most amazing experience to come home and be enveloped in love and care after a long work day. (Also, isn’t my husband so amazing?! I am so grateful for him!)
