I’m in the same boat as you. When I stop and really look at him I’m quite shocked I was able to land such a hot one. At 62 he’s looking better every year.
He just seems to have that mature, older gentleman look. He has even taken interest in how he dresses. No Dad jeans for him. 💕💕

That’s why I’m trying to step up my game. I think if I become a well dressed lady with grace and poise we could become a great power couple.

I don't know if there is a specifically RP answer to this but I'm of the opinion that the female equivalent is "alpha goggles".

As Whisper said, male attractiveness is mostly behavioral. Sometimes you see newer TRP men say that men cannot show weakness ever or a woman will leave, which stems from this idea. Most old married ladies will laugh at them because we've seen our men sick, hurt, upset and generally acting like normal flawed human beings. I think over time your man demonstrates competence and leadership. He builds up a cache of alpha memories, feelings associations in your head so in the moments where you do see him 'weak', it doesn't destroy your respect or feelings for him.

So while 'wife goggles' cover up for the effects of aging, I think 'alpha goggles' cover up for the effects of familiarity over time (weakness, mistakes, morning farts and the like).

Male attractiveness is mostly behavioural.

He's probably hotter to you because you have more familiarity with his level of confidence and competence, but older men with good behavioural qualities are attractive even to young hot women.

Familiarity tends to amplify a man's attractiveness state... a hot dude you know very well is hotter, a not-hot dude you know very well is even less hot.

The same thing is true of age.

I think there are! Like you, when I find out the age of other men I always think they look way older and more worn out than my husband. I think he looks really young and he is fit, but I'm sure to a 22 year old he looks middle aged! I think he's the absolute sexiest guy ever.

You don't notice the physical changes of someone when you see them everyday. I hadn't seen my mother in months, but when I did I noticed how old she is. I think in a way you tend to see your boyfriend/husband as the same young man you first met mentally.
