Hey yall! I hope you're having a good and not extremely stressful time preparing your Christmases. I just figured I'd stop by and thank you all. I haven't been very active lately but I do still lurk around.
Anyway, L and I just got married today. He's asleep now and I'm a little too excited still. And honestly, I'm not sure we'd be here if it wasn't for your constant good advice. I'm so bad at writing down what I'm thinking because I'm thinking so many thoughts of excitement and happiness, but as I said, thank you for being awesome!
And any advice for a newlywed?

I've never been married, but my mom's advice (married to my dad 34 years) to newlyweds is generally to remind both parties that they aren't perfect, and to practice compassion and self-improvement accordingly. Congrats again!

The justice of peace had something along those lines in his speech which I loved. I don't even remember all of it but afterwards as we were sipping champagne he came over and talked to us about it again. And he said to never forget that we both make mistakes and to always look at how we individually went wrong and to never stop trying to improve.

Congratulations! My advice to my self when I was a newlywed would be; work hard, learn a trade or a skill now. Don't eat the same amount he eats just because you're eating together, you'll just gain weight. Go to church every Sunday without fail, it's more important than you realize. Appreciate your apartment now. The next two are going to be worse. Oh and have lots of amazing sex!!

I'm having some kind of mental disconnect here. Over in TRP, all the old vanguards preach never to get married. Here in RPW, your goal is to get alphas, right? Why would an alpha want to get married?

Pure alphas aren't marriage material. We want a nice mix of alpha and beta qualities. And sexual strategies of trp and rpw are very different.
