So I am new around here but I think that the name itself is a bit irrelevant. I think (or I am hoping) that it is a community of women who have found power and happiness in embracing their femininity and who can see value in having a relationship in which they can defer to their partner without feeling like they are losing a battle. I would describe those feminine qualities as gentleness, nurturing, understanding, patience and helpfulness. I think the women here want to hone their skills in communication while not trying to change or badger the man they are with. Women here endeavour to be as accepting/accomadating of their partner as they can be. If there needs to be a change they try to inspire it rather than forcing it. I feel like the women here are open about enjoying the more mundane that can be frowned upon these days. Things like home making, cooking, child rearing, health and beauty, sewing, frugality and relationship skills are honed and respected.

I feel like this community may exist because when you express that you are happy living a life in which you follow your husbands lead people can get quite aggressive with you. When you aspire to be the best wife/mother/home maker you can be people often look down on you and make out that it's simply not enough. This is a way of approaching the world that is some how offensive to more ambitious people (maybe differently ambitious) and it seems to get a lot of hate. The values are similar to those held high in the mid 20th century but its not a carbon copy thing. I don't believe that homophobic, racism or misogyny play into this at all. There is respect and love and acceptance. In fact I believe maximising respect, love and acceptance is a massive part of all this.

But I could be wrong. Like I said I am new here too.

If I am not mistaken, Redpill is some sort of "wake up to the reality of the world" movement. It started with USA's government increasingly being distrustful which came to public eye since the beginnjng of the 21th century. Since then people are very skeptical of informations passed around (+ fake news) and thus conspiracy theories became popular. Some of them turned to be real with actual proof and so the process of learning those and going down the rabbithole of Internet's hidden secrets is called "Redpilling" yourself (as in the Matrix movie).

Now most people, called Blue pillers, don't care enough to look for the supposed hidden Truth. Anf for people to become Redpilled (a self fueled process) they either were in a line of work where they had access to sensitive info, or they were big nerds spending a lot of time online.

These nerds are frustrated by women turning them down (mpst of them) and also used the web as a coping mechanism, spreading misogyny online out of frustration.

With time the 2 mixed up and redpilling became a reaction to not being able to find a mate (+inability to jnsert in society well as an extension, rise of price of hpusing, climate change, rising unemployment, economical crisis, etc). This meant questionning society's sociology, joining the Alt-Right (becoming conservative) and to an extent working on becoming better and making it in life with these new secret informations, fresh clear view of reality and the real reasons of failure in life.

This new view of how society works, how to repair it and even better understanding of the opposite gender, this is what this subreddit is about i think. To give actual useful advice that makes sense and is considered "good and healthy" (from women to women).

I might not fully get it because I am not that much familiar with the now popular use of redpill term, which might have changed its meaning, but i think thats what it's all about.

ALL of the Red Pill communities share one origin: the idea of red pill-blue pill from the matrix. You can take the blue pill and live out whatever delusion/fantasy you want to, or you can take the red pill and live in truth and reality.

Red Pill Women is a sub for women to learn how to make themselves high value so that they can earn and keep a high value man. They do it not through manipulation or tricks, but finding out the truth of what men actually want in a partner. Not what society or feminism or any other liar says (or erroneously believes), but What. Men. Want.

"What do you offer men, aside from your looks/body, that THEY value?" This is my most common question to female posters here. Many non-RP women have the craziest answers. A BP woman will often answer, "Well, I have my job, and my degree, and I have a house, and..." BZZZZT. Men care about NONE of that. And that's the point; RPW is first and foremost an educator of what's true, not what's taught.

You have to see the truth before you can embrace it.
