I am not even sure where to start! I have a tendency to be more, shall we say, "free spirited". I'm not crazy about schedules or routines. What does this have to do with self care? Well, my son (my other kids to a lesser degree) needs a strict schedule. He was having meltdowns 3-4 times daily and switching to a highly scheduled day has just about reversed his meltdowns. To get in self care (or even really any time to even shower, workout, etc) I have to wake at 5:30. Any time I have ever done that I end up in burnout within 2 weeks. Which is where I am now. Completely exhausted. I get to bed around 9/9:30 which leaves little time with my husband. And the past couple of nights I fell asleep while putting my daughter to bed at 7:30/8.

I don't know how to maintain a set routine, take care of myself, not burnout, and not feel guilty over taking time for said self-care. FYI, I homeschool & work outside the home 3-4 days a week (maybe 3 hours a day). Any input is welcome!
