Hi ladies! I am a long-time lurker and would like to thank you for all of the changes this subreddit has brought to my life. I've been in a relationship with an absolutely wonderful man for six months. He also agrees with much of what TRP has to say, which is why we work so well together. I absolutely love supporting him, and I can tell that he really appreciates everything I do for him. Neither one of us have said "I love you" yet, but I really want to.

From what I've gathered, TRP states that a man should generally refrain from saying "I love you" to a woman until she does so first, and afterwards to only say it twice (?) for every three times the woman says it. However, I'm having some difficulty finding information on this topic from the woman's perspective.

So, when is it appropriate to say "I love you" for the first time? I'm probably overthinking this, but I'd really like to gain some advice. Please feel free to share your personal experiences with this too! Thank you so much :)
