What are some ways that I (F) can use RP skills in the workplace?

I'd also add that if you need to talk privately, you can do so in a public place (e.g. an atrium, on walk, meeting room with glass walls or getting coffee on a patio), where you can be seen but not heard.

Although in a male dominated industry my entire team is female except myself. I can provide the same level of mentoring and leadership I would with males but do so in a place that wouldn't raise the possibility of any gossip or accusation. I've witnessed a false accusation (against someone else) and even though it was PROVEN false within the first 40 minutes, it shook that person tremendously.

Similarly, if you need to talk privately ask to go on a walk around the campus or meet in a public setting where you can be seen not easily heard. People I've worked with would be much more willing to mentor if the mentee took some little steps to ensure no false accusation or gossip of impropriety could be made.

The advice I would give is similar to that I would give any person male or female.

Focus on your work above nearly everything
Do not engage in gossip or dishonest behavior
Be honest AND kind with all
Help your manager and team
Take breaks, drink water, and enjoy the little things.
