Its fucking crazy to me how these people don't realize that "nice guys" are not upset that girls don't sleep with them.

There fucking upset because they've been told one thing by society, be nice to women and they have realized the harsh reality, thats not what women respond positively too.

I feel so fucking sorry for these dudes.

So I'll just address the first part of this, which I'm hearing a lot these days- women talking as though men "feel entitled" to them. Boys grow up hard. We are taught early on that we have to train extensively, and our best is often not good enough - that we have to work to be even better. In short, we don't think we're entitled to anything. One of my early sports memories is finishing 2nd in a major wrestling tournament, only to have my coach read me the riot act on how I should never be satisfied with just "placing". He wasn't serene when he said this either, his anger was palpable. Whenever women talk about men thinking they're "entitled" to this or that, it's merely transparent projecting.

r/seduction got flooded to shit and embraced a bunch of retards. it's filled with blogspam and self proclaimed gurus posting garbage. i joined at the 5k member mark and stayed until about the 40k mark. 5-10k did have some very valuable posts including a big focus on inner game, self worth, and self amusement. but it got awful. i wouldn't recommend that place to anyone.

"nice" is the worst adjective that a guy could be described as (obviously ruling out creep, etc). nice means there's absolute nothing else about your character that stands out other than the fact that you aren't awful. it's an empty positive sounding word.

I don't think he is completely wrong. If you're going to go the nice guy route, at least be genuine about it, and don't just be nice to women. I always agreed with the thought that the reason a lot of "nice guys" don't get laid is because they are insincere and women can typically see through such a shallow layer of bullshit. If I was going to be the nice guy, I would at least want to be nice to everyone so I can at least sleep at night knowing my life wasn't a big con.

The problem is that this behavior is reinforced by a lot of people.

Every women will tell men that they just have to be nice- that's it. When being nice doesn't work (It never does) they are told "be nicer" which starts a cycle- they can't get laid becasue they're nice, but they actually think the solution is take this shit attitude that turns women off, and go farther with it.

Men are told this from their (naive) mothers, from the media, movies, even from some dads (awful dads), from every woman they will ever meet, from betas posing as alpha men online in a basic 'crab wont let other crab out of the bucket senario' where they give the advice that hasn't worked for them to other guys.

But at the end of the day, it's their fault for not listening to us, and even without us, not learning from their mistakes.

Many TRPs used to be nice guys, but were smart enough to realize 'This hasn't been working, why don't I try something else' and when something else worked, they stuck with it, or improved on it like a man does.

At the end of the day they aren't real men and they're not worth your pity because they see the proof every day but they're not smart enough to think or form their own opinions.

I don't like the nice guy/jerk dichotomy. Most people I know do not fit neatly into one category or the other. What I think is more appropriate is fun/boring.

The author is really saying be a fun guy, don't be boring. The thing is, and where the author fails, is that fun for today's men has been defined as "finding the girl of your dreams." You can even tell in the tons of his post, he seems angry.
