Since you should have internalized the abundance mentality no woman should ever give you oneitits. Even the quality ones, what's the big deal...there are plenty others as replacements. Nobody is special, remember that, we're 7 billion, we mostly consume the same things, have increasingly similar experiences and are more inter-connected than ever. The era of special snowflakes is long gone. Take your pick, enjoy your time with them, no need for attachment, it will weaken you.

If you never feel tempted to fall into oneitis mode, you're not pushing yourself to grow as a pua and a man.

There will always be girls who are a level above what you're used to getting, and when you get one you'll feel some amount of neediness. This doesn't mean that you're going to go full-on blue pill beta on her, but you'll feel the fear of loss.

You can avoid that fear by never dating girls who inspire it in you, but is that winning? No. Winning is recognizing that emotional reaction, knowing that is is counterproductive, controlling it, and growing so that 'the' girl goes from out of your league, to on your level, and below.

And then you start feeling some oneitis for the next level up...

Aside from further internalizing TRP thoughts and behaviors being vigilant about yourself is all you can do.

One thing I do is every two weeks or so I try to look at my actions, interactions, and thought patterns in an objective manner. I realize with my current gf that sometimes I'm overly available, so I may make the conscious choice to distance myself or something for a day. Then I see a positive (or negative) reaction to what I did adjust as needed.

But honestly, most of the time the situation is actually the opposite and I realize that I could be more "beta" with her as part of ltr management. She's a pretty red pill chick; cooks, cleans, wears dresses for me, etc etc and rewarding good behavior via attention and doing shit for her is fine.

Ohhh here's something that really helps maintain frame throughout a relationship -- early on start making her do shit for you. Make coffee, bring you beers (already open, of course), cook for you, just whatever various things you like your bitch to do. Make that a habit and that reinforces in many ways the power dynamic with you in charge.

Edit: Also remember that in an ltr you have a massively larger room for error if you start it off really strong. If you start turning beta after 5 months she won't hop on another dick the second you fail a shit test. Point is, while "oneitis" is something to be vigilant about, it's not something to be paranoid about so long as you stay conscious of TRP.

It's only Oneitus if she doesn't work for you and you can't move past it. You hit the nail on the head with always staying vigilant.

If your just playing the field keep your head together. If you are in a LTR and want it to work you damn well better keep your shit together.

Learn from my fail- I go slack in a LTR getting comfortable and thinking I don't need to stay on top of things. I know understand the importance of sticking with TRP. Look at it this way- it's not just for you its for her and your relationship. If it goes to shit its over and you two are not together anymore. She doesn't want that- you have to step up and keep it together for both of you. This means sometimes not giving in and not being agreeable.

Yes, I'm currently having this issue. An ex plate has recently gotten back in contact after breaking out from my harem 9 months ago after I denied her exclusivity. She has been working out, upped her fashion game and is looking stunning.

But now she refuses to fuck me, tells me she is making we wait, and all I want to do is fuck her. We hung out last week, things were getting hot and heavy, and she managed to turn me down and left. Her parting words were "go fuck another one of your girls".

This is you transitioning from reading the material to actually utilizing it. Sure, there's a lot of women who you will not have oneitis for, but for the one's you do...consider them a test of sorts, a test that determines your capacity to apply the material after simply reading it. Using your brain over your emotions.

When you get those feelings, take a step back and realize what is going on and use your logic to overtake the emotions (this is really hard to do but you have to merely stop thinking about it and just do it)

Its something that I had to deal with when I had issues with my gf, now, if anything comes up, I feel comfortable kicking her to the curb if she fucks with me

Sure, you can tell yourself you'll only go for 8-10s, but I found it was an excuse I gave myself in order to not have to go out there and fail left and right with women. Instead decided to just spin even the basic plates in order to get things jump started.

Just be sure it's not an excuse so you don't have to go through failure. You'll know because you'll find yourself making excuses from approaching the supposive high-standard girl.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with knowing what/who you want and going after it in the best way you know how. The fact that you've asked this question shows that you'll be cognizant of the condition when it begins to occur.
