So I see you've already touched upon this in one of the other comments, but I want to dig a little deeper here: what do you honestly, HONESTLY think the real, final endgame is for those of us who follow Red Pill philosophy? I remember, years ago (when I was regular commenter here for a bit), the crowd seemed to be split into two distinct camps, the younger guys (teens and 20s) who were just in the "I want to bang as many hotties as possible" contingent, and then there were the older guys (usually mid 30s and up) who were all about the "I wanna wife up a nice good (Christian?) girl one day soon--now how, exactly, do I pull this off...?" And I always thought, wow, for the youngers guys, if you wanna run around and up your notch count more power to you, but for the older set (or even the younger, more monogamously minded crowd), if you seriously think you have ANY hope or chance of a long term, exclusive, monogamous relationship in today's modern technological sexual marketplace (dominated by swipe app dating), well, you must have not properly internalized the TRP sidebar... Go back to square 1, try again.

So you and I talk about this often (full disclosure: Tacos and I know each other in real life, we are sober bros and we bro it out all the time, also if you think you have a drinking problem YOU DO and you should message either one of us and we'll steer you in the right direction, same goes for sober dating questions etc): this notion of wanting to go deep, of wanting the long term monogamous love relationship, yet, at the same time, recognizing that 1) even if we were handed this thing, could we really stick it out ourselves long term, given that we're so used to the absolute freedom that today's SMP provides (i.e. our own pair bonding mechanisms may well be broken at this point), and 2) even if we DID decide that, no matter what, we were gonna stay the course, and be firm and true in our chosen relationship, given what we know about women (post Red Pill), is it realistic to expect that ANY women, ANYWHERE (even in a thatched roof village in the middle of Southeast Asia), that any women at all is really, really capable of long term monogamy? (Particularly once you've handed her a smartphone, and the whole world becomes her village?)

I just had brunch with a mutual friend of ours, and we talked about this very thing: that the real endgame of the Red Pill (what I call "Advanced Red Pill", or "TRP 2.0", usually reserved for seasoned players with a triple-digit notch count who are tired of running around and might want to settle down at some point, you and I both fall into this category) is, in fact, MGTOW, and really, if you truly understand the theory behind Red Pill teachings (hypergamy, Briffault's Law, dual sexual strategy, emotional primacy, AWALT), it actually can't be any other way. No, you don't have to run off to your cabin in the woods and turn into the Red Pill version of the Unabomber (cranking out your anti-women manifestos on an old IBM Selectric all the while), but you DO have to come to terms with the fact that, if you let a woman into your life, you need to be fully prepared for her to potentially GHOST YOU AT ANY SECOND. Could be after one date, could be after two weeks, or two months, or 5 five years, or 10. Maybe never, maybe she'll be with you until the day you die (extremely unlikely, not technically impossible, depending on your circumstances, however I'd say your odds of winning the lottery are better). But more and more, as the SMP becomes ever more hyper-efficient, and we regress back to our caveman days, wherein a few extremely good looking alpha males are running around having sex with ALL the women (TRP says the top 20% of men are having sex with the top 80% of women, I disagree, I think it's more like the top 2% are having sex with the top 50%, and that 2% is shrinking every year), one has to recognize, as smartphones are now ubiquitous, that HYPERGAMY WILL NEVER BE SATISFIED. There's always another, seemingly slightly better, slightly more unknown quantity just a tap away--and he'll show up ready to bang in 15 minutes or less. Had an argument with your girl? Tap tap--now she's having sex with someone else. No argument at all, things are going great, but uh oh, who's this hottie who just slid into her DMs? He's a photographer and wants to shoot? Perhaps they could get together soon? It's done--and you're out. The cycle never ends. The carousel (for her) never stops.

Given all this, then, can anyone walking around with a head full of TRP really expect to engage in anything like a monogamous relationship? EVER? I'd argue yes, you can (in the sense of having sex with only one woman), but at the same time, it'd be a relationship in which you should (really, you must) recognize that the woman can (and most likely will, at some point) potentially walk at any second, with no warning whatsoever (you and I have both been through this many, many times, I know). And then once you get to that mindset, well, knowing she could vanish at any moment, how invested are you really ever gonna be in her (and the relationship) anyway? (If I told you stock X could implode at any second, taking all your money with it, how much would you invest? Maybe some fake Monopoly money just for fun, but how much REAL money would you ever put in? Zero, right?)

Do you believe in a literal God? I've been unable to believe that one literally exists, but I do understand how the metaphor of God could be useful. Douglas Adams's speech on this has been hugely influential.

Understanding that I am not in control and that there are forces much more powerful than I am - it helps me to surrender when things don't go well, but I haven't been able to make the final step into believing that God exists in the way many people do.
