Military guys & other guys that are away from home a lot are the obvious examples. Unless you can out-alpha the hamster it can happen to you.

No specific examples, but Sneaky Fucker Theory/Strategy is relevent.

I'd also point out that the laws tend to get made by Alpha's for their own convenience. I doubt there would be so many strictures against adultery, particularly female adultery, or practices like female circumcision if female promiscuity wasn't an issue for ruling males.

It's semantics, but she would not cheat if she respected the guy. By cheating she disrespected him.
