Quick refresher on markets:

Anything where there is a demand and supply constitutes a market. Goods that are constantly produced and consumed in large quantities are commodities. Commodities that are fungible are traded in a commodity market (example: soybeans, gold, oil) using price discovery (publicly readable bid/ask orders). The way markets work has held true for nearly all of recorded history of trading.

Goods that are unique and rare such as artwork are traded in auction markets.

Goods that are not fungible (real estate/diamonds) but still produced and consumed in large quantities also constitute a market but they are tricker to price. Usually, various characteristics are compared in order to arrive at a valuation. For real estate, it could be location, school district, square footage. For diamonds, its color, carat, cut, clarity. However, quite a bit of the buyer's preferences factor into the actual sale. Someone may like pink diamonds and a waterview, someone else may like sapphires and closeness to golf course.

The sexual market:

The sexual market is a market in a non-fungible good. The characteristics could be height, status, income and so on. For a woman, it could be facial symmetry, lustre of hair and clarity of complexion, bra size, etc. Some characteristics could be common to both such as intelligence, fit body and so on.

Rule 1: Market value of an individual item is effected by overall market When the supply is reduced, value/price goes up. For example, after world war II, the acute shortage of men enabled nearly any man to find a wife, be it a short/fat/crippled/poor man. Similarly, in China and India, an acute shortage of women is enabling women to make ridiculous demands for the man they would marry.

Rule 2: Perceived value is derived from a comparison of similar goods It is said a woman's father sets the standard for what a woman looks for. If her strongest characteristic is that he is big and strong, she won't be attracted to short, skinny guys even if they have status and money. Similarly, women look for the best qualities from previous boyfriends and lovers.

Rule 3: Competing bids increase value. You can see this effect in a real estate market where a bid on a house could be $400K but a similar house with 5 bids will go to $500K

Rule 4: Non-serious bids are ignored. If you bid $400K for a million dollar house, it will be ignored, they wont even bother replying.

Rule 5: You need capital to trade. You are required to show sufficient buying power before your offer is even entertained.

TRP and sexual market:

DHV: DHV is your capital. You need it to trade. (Rule #5). A man who shows high DHV does not even need to do anything, the goods will approach him. This is similar to companies approaching venture capitalists to sell vs retail traders approaching to buy. A guy without DHV who approaches women is a creep and if he escalates to kino he is a pervert. If you don't have DHV, build it: Lift, get a great job, create an interesting life and accumulate cool life stories.

Game: Game is your general savvy on how to work the market, getting the best value for your DHV. You try to increase your perceived value.

Social proof: Competing bids increase your value.

Price discovery:

In a price discovery system, non-serious bids are ignored. When HB8 and HB9 are bidding for you, you will ignore HB5. Conversely, if you only approach HB9 and HB10, observers will assume your market value is higher. Thats why its important not to fuck too many uglies and also why being always seen together with hot women increases the chances other hot women will find you attractive.
