Vatican City (AFP) - Pope Francis said Wednesday that it may be "morally necessary" for some families to split up, marking a change of tone in the Catholic Church's attitude to troubled marriages.

"There are cases in which separation is inevitable," he said during his weekly general audience, with a message hoping to encourage greater compassion in the Church ahead of a highly anticipated global meeting on family life in October.

"Sometimes, it can even be morally necessary, when it's about shielding the weaker spouse (read: the wife) or young children from the more serious wounds caused by intimidation and violence, humiliation and exploitation," (read: the husband) he said.

The new "moral" thing to do, according to one of the utmost authorities on MORALITY on the planet, is to divorce your "abusive" husband and destroy your family.

So, what does this have to do with the Red Pill? Well, in light of /u/Whisper's fantastic post today, "Trees", I think it dovetails quite relevantly with something he said there.

When someone tells you to plant trees for others, ask yourself... do I sit in the shade of trees planted for me? How you answer that question is up to you. But don't let people control you with guilt and a lecture. And if you find yourself the sons of men who sat in the shade and planted no trees, I recommend you not stand out in the sun with a shovel.

While a great many of you wrestle with the concept of marital fidelity and whether or not you have a role in upholding it, and if so, exactly what role that is, perhaps it might pique your interest to know that, for the married among you, very large, influential forces in society are directly encouraging your wife to divorce you and take you for all you are worth.

In other words, the cad behind the bar in Cabo San Lucas or Las Vegas who seduces your wife into a cock riding sesh when she goes on Spring Break "with the girls", may just be the least of your problems. While you are getting all butthurt and wagging your shame finger at the wife-fuckers, behind your back the Catholic Pope is telling your wife to pack up the kids, dissolve your marriage vows, and leave your abusive husband ass.

Inb4 the first "but I'm not Catholic" comment; my point in using the Catholic Church as an example is that there was once a time, pretty much all through recorded history, when dissolution of marriage was not only discouraged, but strictly forbidden in the dogma of the Catholic church. And if such a long storied institution like that has bought into family dissolution, where do you think the rest of society is concerning the value of family?

Interesting bellwether indeed, that even a thousands-year-old institution like the Catholic Church is not immune to the constant, driving onslaught of feminism and its relentless push to dissolve the strongest bastion of moral society, and that is a strong, nuclear family.

Is there as an agreement between you and society, or all other men, not to fuck each others' wives? Maybe. But has it been upheld? Well, what has society done to protect you from cuckoldry? It has given wives cash and prizes for engaging in it and divorcing their husbands.

So the choice is yours men. If you choose to stand in the sun with your shovel, diligently digging holes to plant more shade trees to uphold a social contract that you've been lectured to uphold while it bends you over to fuck you in the ass, feel free to knock yourself out.

Just know that it's not only the immoral wife fuckers that are conspiring against you, but also the site foreman (society) telling you to plant the shade trees in the first place. But on the other hand, there are also men out there who are maximizing their pleasure in this morally decaying society, and that there is nothing wrong with that either.
