Speaking of Dzhokar Tsarnaev, was I the only one upset when Reddit went all "He's good looking!", "Look he had girlfriends and went to the prom!", "Wow, he was normal!" followed by "How can this be possible? It's unthinkable!"
One could explain it as people couldn't wrap their heads around someone who lives similarly as them doing evil. You could.
Are mental disorders all of a sudden always visible and clearly were not present here? Can normal people not have hidden thoughts and emotions? Can normal people not be able to lie and misrepresent themselves?
What true difference does it make if he's good looking?
If he was ugly and a hermit would you still suggest it was a possible "set up"? That's my concern.
Are all "undesirables" pieces of shit? Is that why they're "outcasted" according to society? Are all the fitter-inners caring wonderful human beings all of sudden?
What about the fucking blood he probably did spill?
Am I delusional or does anyone else catch these double standards and fantasies of the nature of things from society?
It's like those stories of Mac Daddy football player of town couldn't have raped a woman, it must have been one of those misogynists! She obviously is a whore. Not to say false accusations don't happen but you get my point.

Society will ruin your perception of reality. This is why theredpill unplugs people from the mindset of society.

It's a little upsetting that these people try to take black and white stances like these.
That a human is not capable of both doing good and evil, switching back and forth in many cases.
That if you truly are opposed to the mainstream and not in a vanity pretend way you're a big fucking problem.
Any ideas that are not supported by the mainstream are automatically evil.
That actions somehow hold less importance than ideas.
These people on Reddit constantly make any views considered to be racism, sexism or inequality to be some huge marker of the worst of the worst. But what about the people who feed off everyone else selfishly? What about people whose actions create real misery around them? What about the people who consciously hurt others for pleasure or gain? What about people who commit serious tragic crimes?
These are all actions, they have real immediate consequences but somehow "ideas" and unpopular "thoughts" are considered the "true problem" to be tackled by these sheep.
I understand 'bad" thoughts sometimes give rise to "bad" actions but whose to say that is true the majority of the time? Whose to say that every evil man and woman is some hate speech spewing idiot and not just a selfish, cruel human being?
Even if someone is hateful, how did they become hateful? Isn't that worth considering?

All of that is worth considering but it is all tangled up in a large morality debate. This is the common mistake that a lot of people make. You can argue on for hours about whether something is "right or wrong" because there are millions of different scenarios with billions of different circumstances.
Theredpill doesn't deal with morality, it deals with idealism vs. knowledge of reality. The only thing it teaches about society that is wrong is that society lies to you rather than being upfront and showing you the truth of reality. Which truths (and how many) that are hidden from members in a society vary between individual cultures. The idealism we grow up with in the U.S.A. is different than the idealism we grow up with in Pakistan or Sweden.
In all cases, idealism is not reality. This is why theredpill only cares about cold hard evidence, facts, and observable results. It does not care about "an ideal world," it cares about how the world really is right now. It discusses how to maximize your functionality as a man in a western world dominated by a feminism that teaches the false ideals. How to see passed those ideals and uncover the truth that they are concealing.

Like it or not, the people who provide less value to the community are a lot easier to discard, abuse and abandon. Value like connections, beauty, skills, entertainment, leadership.
Community will rationalize away any bad thing a strong leader does, because that leader is so integral to the success of the community. Without a good leadership, most groups and communities simply fall apart and can't react to outside threats.
Second most important group is beautiful woman. Almost anything a fertile, beautiful woman does is rationalized away or ignored. A man can make a baby in a couple of seconds. It takes nine fucking months for a woman. Without women with good genes to make babies a communitys future is in serious peril.
Now take a person that contributes nothing to the community and is only draing precious resources. Almost every thing he or she does is rationalized as evil or unwanted behavior, no matter what the real ethics are or what the intent is. It is almost impossible for that person to exist within that community without providing any value at all.

Kim Jong Um probablly gets laid like a asian Wilt Chamerberlain on a triple dosage of viagra.
And also note the hilarious title of this article : Genghis Khan a Prolific Lover, DNA Data implies. Something tells me that "Prolific Rapist" might be more accurate... but hey all is fair in the name of gene spreading.

Why are you so sure that Ghenghis Khan would have had to rape much if at all? French women in World War II were more than happy to accommodate the occupying Nazi regime, for example. Their punishment for collaborating with the enemy? To be shamed by having their heads shaved. Male collaborators, of course, were largely executed. The estimates of children fathered by Nazi troops was upwards of something like 80,000.
Another wartime example includes British women slutting it up with American troops on leave during WWII -- the "good-time girls" as they were called. Although this doesn't involve occupation by a conquering force, it's a clear case of hypergamy and how women seem to react to military power.
You can easily dig out more historical examples like this. I wonder how many bastards have been born in Iraq and Afghanistan as a result of those long occupations?
The women of conquered nations, tribes and such are often very obliging, it seems.

Too bad I'm not evil. ):

Every man woman and child on this planet is descended from 10,000 generations of rapists, murderers, and cannibals. If you aren't "evil" it's only because you are holding yourself back.

Actions can be evil, thoughts can't.
Think of it this way: say a person lives a "good" life (good in parentheses because defining what "good" is is a whole different can of worms). You agree that they are a "good" person, no matter the content of their thoughts, yes?

Defining good isn't too tough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7xt5LtgsxQ

It's certainly an interesting video series, and sounds reasonable, but it isn't definitive by any means.
Also, relevant SMBC.
[–]TehGinjaNinja0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
No. You can assert that they "lived a good life", as the results of their actions were good, i.e. had good consequences. From this you can infer, that they were likely "a good person", but you can't be sure of it.
Determining whether someone is "a good person" is an assessment of their character, not of their actions. A person may intend to accomplish "good", but produce "evil" via their actions due to misfortune or incompetence. Conversely a person may intend "evil" but instead accomplish "good".
So thoughts can be evil, because intent matters. I agree intent matters less than results, but it is significant when assessing character.

That's a very one-sided view. We are also descended from groups of people who were able to work together to overcome lesser tribes that could not work together.
True. My point wasn't that we're incapable of "good", it was simpy that we're all capable of "evil".

what the fuck
The truth is often unpleasant.
Why is this? Why do women like evil?
[–]thane_of_cawdor0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
this is so fucked up

I have been lurking here in the last few days... Though I haven't swallowed any pills I found this to be a good article which was worth reading. Even in my country there are women who will rush to the aid of hardened terrorists and fawn over them like they are puppies. We must note that the reverse may also be true.
But I don't think one needs to dole out 'measured doses of cruelty' to get what they want from women.. One should find other areas of life that they are more interested in than women. It makes their blood boil.
