For any UK people, both the former Oxford Union president and Sarah Pine were on Friday's episode of Newsnight (somewhere around the middle of the episode).

He says that the accused should have anonymity until at least the end of the preliminary investigation. She says no.

She says that she was right to campaign against him even though we have the principle of innocent until proven guilty. She says the campaigning didn't violate the principle of innocent until proven guilty! And the former OU president agreed!

I'm not sure if this is such a massive issue tbh. I feel like, at least in the UK, almost everyone won't hold it against him afterwards. I'm sure people are mature enough to treat him well. If I was the OU president I'd just be moaning about the girl who accused me.
