There was an article out this week from the Atlantic all about Putin, and not going to dive into the politics much here, just wanted to share something I found interesting that is highly applicable to America in regards to the health of men that I hadn't before in regards to the sex ration between men & women in Russia, which is the country with the highest disparity between the sexes in the world (more women than men).

According to the article and the corresponding Atlantic podcast talking about the article, Putin's strongest support base is among Russian women above age 55. People constantly joke about him showing off his physique, seemingly as a way to build a cult of personality, but according to the writer there is a specific reason for this as it relates to women.

Roughly 1 in 4 Russian men die before age 55, and the life expectancy of men is 64 in Russia, which is 130th out of 183 countries in the world (on par with Yemen, Mongolia, Myanmar, etc.). Whereas women actually live to age 76, ranking for 89th. Not saying I'd expect Russia to have a high life expectancy, however, the disparity between men and women is pretty staggering, 12 years difference is the highest in the world between the sexes.

Of course, none of this is very shocking considering how high the alcoholism rate is in Russia. Many men also die from accidents and fights.

Putin surrounds himself with other men of his age (he's 65), for instance his foreign minister Sergei Lavrov is 67. Putin promotes to the public healthy eating, play sports, active lifestyle. Putin doesn't drink either, he's giving off the image he's strong, he's in shape.

We, people in the West, look at photos of Putin with his shirt off and think its absurd. But, the author said, the photos of Putin have a major desired effect on Russians, especially Russian women. And that goes for women across the age spectrum, quite a number of women in their 20s view Putin positively too because they don't have grandfathers, or their fathers die young.

However, at the same time if you're a man who takes care of himself, just as a matter of statistics, over time, MeToo will sink into the background, but you will stand out (if you already don't). And it has an impact on the politics. I mean, its difficult to make wide generalizations about the sex ratio and politics and use Russia as an example, but it is fascinating that the country with the worse sex ratio also has the wealthiest man in the world, and the politics favor men (not women). MeToo's backlash is that women don't realize they need men, they're trying to fight men at a time when men are under severe threat in the West. However, the alternative is they actually long-term will be far worse off with less and less men. They will be lonely for far longer than they are now.

As this relates to Red Pill / Mens Rights, with the stark rise in white male death rates in America, along with a staggering incarceration rate among black men in America, combined with automation pushing out so many blue collar jobs, a continued rise in alcoholism / drugs / suicide is a logical conclusion to make of the next 20 years is that this particular class of men who politicians, particularly the left, has been programming society to despise, will only continue and we're likely to see massive societal ramifications as a result. Most likely, men with decent lives and education will be fine, and will likely succeed. Women are going to go mental for sure, as the so called "gender wage gap" they've been trying to so hard to overcome, actually goes the opposite way (as men become more scarce, scarcity from an economic perspective leads to MORE money for men, less for women, especially in male dominated industries like engineering).

Not just these impacts though, on the personal lives of women across America, they're going to see their fathers and their grandfathers dying at far earlier ages if this plays out more and more. It's already impacted in Russia older women who miss their husbands, and younger women miss their fathers or their grandfathers, and appreciate Putin not just because life under Putin is far better than in Soviet times, but he's a man who takes care of himself, doesn't drink, works out. Just taking care of yourself is enough because in a society of disappearing men, the superior man (which doesn't have to be all that superior, just one who does the basics) is king.

To conclude, here is an excellent map showing the geography of the sex ratio map in America.
