(Taken from a comment I just posted on another thread)

Now obviously the title quote isn't entirely true but it's still amazing how the exact same behaviors from two different men can mean two totally different things, with the only real difference being how attractive the man is to her.

She only considers it to be sexual harassment if she isn't attracted to him. Otherwise it's just 'normal, forward assertive sexy behavior'

It kind of reminds me of this experiment(The 'life of 10/10 male' tinder experiment) where a guy used the pictures of a 6'3 ripped model in his tinder bio and pretty much said whatever he wanted to these girls with near unanimous positive reception (such as "I wanna rip that dress off and fuck you"), whereas if the guy were ugly (forgetting that they wouldn't have matched on Tinder in the first place), such forward messages would definitely be considered sexual harassment by these women.

Example:

Guy: Can I sit on your face so I can eat my way to your heart?

Girl: What are you doing tongiht?

Guy: Jerking off to your pics

Girl: Let's hang

Guy: #?

Girl: [her number]

This would NEVER work if the girl wasn't swooning over the guy. Hell, he'd probably get reported somehow or at the very least have the convo screenshot and put on the internet either to embarrass him or as a 'warning' to other girls.

There's also this one another one too that another guy did - he used a picture of a different attractive guy and in his bio 'admitted' to being a sex offender. he would bring up that he is a sex offender/molested a kid and every single girl was like "oh well, everyone makes mistakes. Wanna fuck? :)" [paraphrasing]

Example:

Girl: Hey, every criminal has the chance to be forgiven, but then again there's something very attractive about a bad boy

Guy: I think I'd rather be bad than forgiven ;)

Girl: The question is, how bad does this bad boy get. And does this bad boy need a naughty girl to keep him bad.

This one is particularly.. fucked, because we aren't talking 'bad boy' like he rides a motorcycle and punches people out for fun, 'bad boy' in this context literally refers to his criminal behavior as a pedophile, which apparently doesn't bother her one bit. I'm speechless, but not surprised.

Lessons Learned

  • 90% of the time, and especially in the context of a conversation, the only difference between what creeps her out and what makes her want to fuck you is whether or not she finds you attractive.
