Disclaimer: I have absolutely NO problem with this at all, but I do think it adds some interesting context.

The story was this:

I took a Gender Studies class one summer and there were some cute girls in it. I ran into one at a bar one night and she was pretty flirty, so like a typical bluepill white knight douche-bag, instead of dutifully f-closing her in the vomit-stained bar bathroom, I got her number and asked her out to lunch.

We go to lunch and she's like a completely different person from when she's in class and especially from what I met her, and even from when I had talked to her on the phone earlier that day. She's in a BAD mood. Or something. She had basically gone from warm and friendly to stone-cold with no real explanation.

Over the course of the lunch, I let it slip that I was listening to the music of a certain controversial R&B artist. She pounced on me instantly. I calmly stated that not all lyrics needed to be taken literally, etc. Then I made the mistake of using the word "pussy" as a synonym for "cowardly." Big mistake. She went ballistic. I then inquired if she ever referred to guy as a "dick." "Yeah, but that's different!" When I pointed out that for equality's sake it wasn't, she got mad. But then, at the end of the lunch, when the check came, I waited a bit for her to reach for wallet. She didn't. Finally, I stated that I wasn't paying for her, and that since we were equal, we were going to split the bill, and also that I knew that she expected me to pay because she didn't whip out any money when the bill came even after I did. Naturally, she was furious. We never saw each other again.

Today, I learned she's married or otherwise with a woman and has a kid. She's still pretty femme looking though, and the woman she's with is butch.

To this day, I wonder exactly how much a role the Gender Studies brainwashing played in shaping her outlook, and how much of it was innate and biological.

Anyway, plenty more fish in the sea.
